Works really well. Make pizza as good as wood burner. Very useful for the colder darker evenings when you want to knock up a quick no hassle pizza

Convert from wood to gas

Gas burner is brilliant. So much less hassle to keep temperature up when cooking more than one pizza.
Just a shame it took 12 months to get it. Order it as soon as you get notification it is in stock. Took me 4 attempts.

Great addition to the ooni karu

Definitely recommended addition. The only reason It's not 5 stars is that it is a bit fiddly to get the right temp when your reaching round the back of the pizza oven to control the burner

Excellent product, flame burning effect is just like burning wood, cooks great pizzas and is consistent heat source for cooking many pizzas, however doesn't give the same flavour to the pizza which you get when burning wood.

Great addition to my karu

Great addition and not sure I'll ever return to wood. Flame spreads right across the top of the oven and can be turned up or down depending on need. Stone gets to 420 degrees Celcius in about 30 minutes so it certainly does the trick without the hassle of wood. No difference at all in the taste. Note though you need to have the chimney on for the new gas burner and not as shown in the photo. Photo just to show the flame spread.
