Love it - even with igniter issues!

Received this gas burner as a replacement for the first unit that the igniter failed shortly after the initial uses. The replacement's igniter also quit working after about a month of use. I've been lighting it manually since. Other than the ignition issue it works fine. The ability to control the flame is a real benefit when making the pizzas.
Using the gas unit makes the whole pizza baking process pretty painless.

A nifty little tool to

A nifty little tool to add to my Karu12. Gives me the ability to switch to gas when I would like. For example when I may be running low on charcoal or wood. Or other times I just want the quick heating of gas. The burner is very even and consistent. It is easy to change out for the wood/charcoal configuration. Wonderful product. Makes me love the Karu12 even more. Thank You Ooni!

FINALLY I can control the heat and get heat and therefore cook consistency. Ooni should ship their overs with gas by default. Won't go back to wood again.

Great addition to my Ooni. Now have perfect flame and temperature control and I can easily make a pizza anytime without the wood pellets

Tough to learn

After our first use, the lighter stopped sparking and I had to use a Bic lighter. I wasn't very happy, We haven't used our Ooni pizza oven since. Very disappointed.
