Worth it!

This was definitely worth getting. I have done a couple of pizza parties and having the gas makes a huge difference. It is much easier than having to keep checking the wood and topping it up. The gas is quicker and to be honest you can't tell the difference to the taste.

Reached 500 degrees heat, easy to install and easy instruction. Gas hard to find lately due to supplies shortage but works with different options so you should be able to find some. Great piece of equipment

Easy but with limitations

Instructions are detailed enough to allow installation and operation with no problems.
The connection via a clip on regulator is easy and using gas is convenient
The gas burner does not heat up as quickly as wood and using propane we did not achieve the optimal temperature of 500°c even after 30mins. Wood is still our preferred option
Gas does have the advantage of cooking with a bit more ease & control and will be unlikely to burn the pizza. It will most likely only be used when only one or two pizzas are being made slowly, and wood will still be the preferred option

Excellent bit of kit which turns the Karu 12 into a wonderful little multifuel pizza oven. Couldn't be more simple to fit to the oven and with electronic ignition and easy gas jet control produces perfect pizzas in no time at all without any soot, ashes or post use cleaning. Reverting to wood, pellet or charcoal is easy for the wood fired experience which is also great fun. What's not to like!

Great addition to the Ooni karu 12. I purchased the Karu so I had the multi fuel option, but haven't taken the gas burner off since I fitted it
