The gas burner is awesome. I loved the idea using wood but it was a faff to constantly keep on top of the fire. I felt like I was constantly roping it up and waiting for it to get up to heat. With the burner I put it on, let it heat up and focus on the pizza. As the heat travels further through the oven, the top of the pizza gets a better cook as well leading to bubbly cheesy heaven. You get much greater control over the temperature and ignition couldn't be simpler. I will probably not use the wood much again.

The burner is a replacement

The burner is a replacement for a faulty one purchased at the same time as the oven.
The replacement burner now has the same fault and will not generate a spark and ignite the gas.

Great. Heats up quickly and keeps a constant temperature. Really easy to use and much less hassle that wood and charcoal. Easier to keep at a high temperature.

Have the Karu 12 multi

Have the Karu 12 multi fuel,normally cook with wood ,but bought gas burner for convenience of click and cook,it definitely gets the stone up to temp a lot faster,and ease of temperature control is good,would definitely recommend
