Excellent accessory to have when you want to make a lot of different pizzas in a short amount of time, lets you enjoy your time with everyone instead of staying on top of the wood fire.

Not so impressed so far,

Not so impressed so far, either with the oven or the gas attachment. And I really wanted to be. The gas attachment takes forever to start and the attachment to the tank seems very finicky as it will work with one tank and not another. As much as I would love to use this oven, I will probably stick with the consistency I get from my 500-degree oven.

Not great in colder weather

In the colder months in New England the the gas insert will not get the stone over 600 degrees. At full gas the burner will cook the top of the pizza faster than the bottom leaving it over cooked on top or under cooked on bottom. The problem appears to be ventilation the smoke stack does not let enough air into the over by itself, so you have to crack the front or the back or else it will snuff out the flame.

The gas Burner attachment works

The gas Burner attachment works great. One thing I would like to see different. Is a longer hose with it. That however is not a huge game changer.

Easy install, even cooking

Very easy install, great even cook and reliable temperature.
I purchased this after cooking exclusively with wood and it's a world of difference. The gas attachment takes the guess work out of temperature control and makes it a fast and easy pizza making experience.
