Heats the oven fast but

Heats the oven fast but I have notice that the flame doesn't always come out clean causing more of a yellow flame.

Karu 12 gas burner

Super easy to attach and does a better job of managing the heat than the charcoal/wood combinationVery happy with this purchase. Would highly recommend this to anyone trying to control the temperatures in the cooler winters.

Does not heat the stone up to the stated temperature within 15 minutes, more like 40 minutes and close to 800 Deg using propane gas.

Very displeased with the design of the propane gas burner. This burner is a point source and does not produce the uniform heat pattern that is present when you use lump charcoal. Using lump charcoal I can get close to 900 Degree F in about 20 minutes. The uniform heat distribution produced using limp charcoal if far superior to the propane gas burner. It needs to be redesigned to more follow closely the uniform heat pattern produced using lump charcoal.

I bought the Ooni Karu because of its flexibility. I can choose the fuel that i cook with wood or charcoal. Now I can cook with gas. This makes the Karu a powerhouse for the back yard, and I love it.
