So far so good. The gas burner is very convenient when having a big pizza party with many pizza pies to bake. The flame control and temperature are excelent without having to spend time refilling the kindling wood hatch. Also, you have a great view of the pizza pie while baking since you don't have to use the oven's door. I highly recommend it.

Using gas allows a more everyday use. The wood fired is fun, romantic and aromatic for small batches but for large gatherings, gas is the way to go.

Great performance. Wish I had gone just gas

It gets way more hot than wood/charcoal did. Hotter in the back than the front. Pizza cooks way faster but needs to be turned. Nutella pizza lit on fire so turn it down for those. Wish i could have paid for it before the price increase, I waited 9 months for it to come back in stock and would have prepaid since i knew I wanted it. Doing it again i would have gone with the gas only oven.

Convenience and ease of use

I find the gas burner very handy. If I am making pizza for just my wife and myself, it heats up very quickly. It lights up very time and of course the pizza tastes great.
I think I will also be better able to control the heat level than when I use wood.
I still use wood when I am having a large group over, but for Convenience and use of use, gas is the way to go

Gas burner is very easy to connect, gas heats the oven much quicker than wood & lump coal (which I prefer) , to bang pizzas out 1 after another quick it's good to use the gas burner- highly recommend

Perfect upgrade

I love the original wood option but having this is a game changer! Installation was a breeze and it is so helpful to be able to get things going faster without monitoring how much wood we have around. Also perfect for back yard parties since there is no stoking.
