The Best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. The Samsung 27" Odyssey OLED G8 G81SF is a beast. I wish I didn’t wait so long to make the jump to oled. I was wanting to downsize from a 32” screen size and when I saw Samsung put out a premium 27” screen I knew it was time. The colors pop and the blacks look fantastic and the refresh rate keeps everything smooth. I thought my previous IPS monitor was decent enough but now I see all the flaws in my previous IPS monitor. The inaccurate colors, light banding, and poor contrast are all a thing of the past. The G81SF has handled everything I throw at it from gaming to word processing to video content to browsing the net. I am a fan of the matte screen as I don’t have total control over the lighting where I have my computer set up but this screen shines regardless and there are zero pesky reflections. The build quality is fantastic and the monitor looks and feels premium. The stand offers a lot of customization and stays true to the premium design. I’ve had over two weeks of use with this monitor and everything has been amazing. Well done Samsung.

Sleek design top quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has the best design imo amongst the competitors. I especially like the metal stand, it's sturdy and flat, so you can still have the space on your desk. There really not much to say about the panel as Samsung is the dominating the space. I personally love the anti reflection coating despite many people on the internet hates it. I put my PC in a bright room close to window, and it's significantly better to look at than the glossy ones.
One minor downside for the monitor is the ports. The DP port is only DP 1.4, although enough to drive to the max specs of the monitors with DSC, it still feels somewhat a disappointment given this is the latest flagship model. It also doesn't have usb C ports, although it's not common in gaming monitor, I think it's much versatile. Since you can essentially use it for both data, display and even power delivery. The usb A ports on the back are not useful, unless you buy a separate mini usb cable (not included in the package) and connect it to your PC to turn the USB ports as a hub. All of it would've been solved by a single usb C port.
Overall, I really love this product and has been absolutely enjoying it.

A powerhouse of a 27" panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the clarity of the over 8 million OLED pixels to the 240hz refresh rate to the 0.03ms GtG response times, this thing delivers. Its fast without being choppy, and the viewing angles are forgiving. It takes standard VESA mounts, so I can easily add a multi monitor mount whenever I buy another one. The blacks are dark, the colors are vibrant, and the display is bright without bleeding light. It has HDR 10+ certifications and covers 100% of sRGB, so if you do work with color reproduction on the side or for a living and gaming on the side, this would be a beast of a main panel. In games, there's no trail, no choppiness, and the colors and contrast look fantastic. It supports GSYNC, FreeSync, and adaptive sync so you won't have to worry about frame buffering or fooling around with sync limiting your refresh rates. Highly recommend, would give 6 stars if I could!

Insane OLED 4k 240Hz .03ms Response

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the largest monitor I ever owned, so my expectations going in wasn't certain, smoothly playing at 1080 @ 120Hz (can't wait to try at 240Hz when I get a 2nd one of these), specifically due to limitations of my laptop's monitor. All I can really say is how blown away and how much I have been missing out on when I committed to actually putting a better budget towards monitors.
The monitor comes with a load of presets for different types of media and game modes, the virtual crosshair seems to be cheaty, but it's spot on when testing and I can see why other gamers used it for so long.
The color depth, contrast, and lighting are at levels I've never got to fully experience in a personal gaming setting, and it is AMAZING for movies, which I have watched some in 4k.
It's added a new level to my gaming experience and performance, smoothly playing at 1080 @ 120Hz (can't wait to try at 240Hz when I get a 2nd one of these) with an insanely fast response time eliminating any blur or ghosting (which is awesome for action movies too).
Overall, I have to say the value for the 27" Odyssey OLED G8 G81SF 4K 240Hz Gaming Monitor is there, and it is well worth it for those who demand high-end gaming, even with dated PCs (I have a GTX 1070).

You will need some serious hardware to make the most out of this monitor. The picture is stunning, and the colors are magnificent. The blacks are deep as the eye can see. It really is something that needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. The matte screen looks great in any lighting and the pixel density keeps images crisp. It's an investment towards a “future proof” monitor that will be relevant for years. Gaming is great with 240hz refresh rate and .03ms response time, it helps you get a leg up on the competition.

A Great Monitor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this monitor for a few weeks now and it's really good! The image quality is great! I'm not sure I have ever seen a better looking screen before trying this monitor. Everything looks crisp and us very eye popping because of the 4K screen. I've been playing some Rocket League and some other video games and the smoothness is unreal. It's a perfect monitor for any e-sports game! I also watch a lot of YouTube and everything just looks amazing! Between the OLED panel, high refresh rate, HRD, and VRR support, this thing has it all!

Beautifully built monitor with stunning visuals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got a chance to test out this monitor with some 4K videos and some gaming. Was stunning with both. Would highly recommend this monitor, for gaming especially. I really appreciate the glare free aspect of the monitor and how glare does not interfere with gaming or watching videos. The construction of the monitor is beautiful and I am especially taken aback by the slim metal design. I don’t remember seeing the back of a monitor as well designed as this one. In testing the monitor with 8k videos I have to say the picture is stunning and reproduced the video perfectly with spectacular colors and black levels on the OLED panel. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to pick this monitor up especially if you are looking for one with a 240hz refresh rate.

The Perfect Monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung G81SF monitor is the perfect monitor. It's OLED 4K panel make it Ideal for gaming, streaming, and work a like. The vibrant colors, dark blacks and bright whites make it an absolute joy to use as a daily driver. The FAST 240hz makes gaming feel smooth and competitive gaming feel like a breeze. I love the look of the monitor itself as well. It looks sleek and modern without being too "loud" in the aesthetics department. Coming from a non OLED 1440p 240hz monitor, I can definitely say that you can feel the jump in performance in this upgrade. After experiencing the brightness, dark rich blacks, faster feeling 240hz, vibrant colors, and gorgeous 4k, I can definitely say I would recommend this upgrade to anyone on the fence 10/10 times.
