Good monitor, no speakers

Well, they got me. After tons of research on oleds, I decided to hop in. A month in, hadnt heard anything about my promotional headset. Contact support. We'll get it taken care of. Nope. Two weeks later. We'll get it taken care of. Nope. Now 3 months from ordering. Still hasn't been taken care of. Now three months in, I'm starting to notice screen burn in.
I play a couple hours a day, when I walk away from the pc, I minimize anything I had open and have task bar set to hide. The main game i play that has a static hud, I hide hud in until I'm about to be in combat(World of Warcraft) AND have burn in protection addon which dims my screen to black if I'm afk for any more than a minute AND constantly shifts my UI, 30pixels at a time to random spots.
Yet here I am, with my health bar burnt into the screen. Support says I'll be without a monitor til they fix it, which I obviously have little faith in, being 3 months into an existing issue. May just chuck it on marketplace and buy an asus, or question oled altogether again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Huge Oversight By Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent monitor but it has some glaring weaknesses that never should have been allowed. The panel is capable of 4K 240 Hz but Samsung didn't put in DP 2.1 so it's impossible to hit that resolution and refresh rate without DSC (Display Stream Compression). Even the HDMI 2.1 ports only allows 4K at 144 Hz at most without compression. How this monitor was allowed to be so over spec'd but not have the necessary port bandwidth is a huge oversight. Which sucks because this thing is just about perfect otherwise. The matte screen helps with glare so much more than other comparable OLED screens. Everything is crisp and beautiful with the pixel density offered at 4K 27" screen size. If DP 2.0 can be enabled via a firmware update of some kind then I think Samsung definitely needs to do it. And also someday swallowing their pride and making their TVs and monitors Dolby Vision compatible.
I'm still keeping this for now because it's a big improvement over my current IPS monitor but if another company released a matter screen with DP 2.1 I would be abandoning this monitor.

This is my 3rd 27" OLED monitor and by far the best. Here are some pros and cons.
Pros:
First 4K 27" OLED panel with high refresh rate on the market.
Finally no text clarity issues due to unusual sub pixel layout like predecessors used to have.
It's thin and light and partially made out of metal therefore feels premium.
Cons:
No KVM that would be very useful for productivity.
No USB-C to connect and charge your laptop with just one cable.
USB type-A cable wasn't included in the box, that's unusual.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is absolutely fabulous it does everything then they needed to and it does it simply and without issues. After only in this monitor for quite a while I've come to appreciate it more and more everyday. I upgraded from a basic television that was sadly not even making 60 HZ I believe and this one far surpasses it quite easily. All in all it's a great mother and a great price and I highly recommend it if you're into gaming and looking for brand new 32 in
