Great colors and very deep black tones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best features are its fast response time, refresh rate, colors, how deep the black levels go and i love how the monitor seems to be just like watching a movie or playing a game look more like im looking outside or in a room, almost like its lifelike image quality and color profile.

With the high specs and sleek design the monitor is easy to use and fits in perfectly with my gaming setup. When I play games it is hard to find a TV, or monitor that can handle and deliver the high quality of certain games like the Samsung monitor does. It truly hightens the level and overall experience of the gamer. Something that most, including myself can appreciate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. The Samsung 27" Odyssey OLED G8 G81SF is a beast. I wish I didn’t wait so long to make the jump to oled. I was wanting to downsize from a 32” screen size and when I saw Samsung put out a premium 27” screen I knew it was time. The colors pop and the blacks look fantastic and the refresh rate keeps everything smooth. I thought my previous IPS monitor was decent enough but now I see all the flaws in my previous IPS monitor. The inaccurate colors, light banding, and poor contrast are all a thing of the past. The G81SF has handled everything I throw at it from gaming to word processing to video content to browsing the net. I am a fan of the matte screen as I don’t have total control over the lighting where I have my computer set up but this screen shines regardless and there are zero pesky reflections. The build quality is fantastic and the monitor looks and feels premium. The stand offers a lot of customization and stays true to the premium design. I’ve had over two weeks of use with this monitor and everything has been amazing. Well done Samsung.

Sleek design top quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has the best design imo amongst the competitors. I especially like the metal stand, it's sturdy and flat, so you can still have the space on your desk. There really not much to say about the panel as Samsung is the dominating the space. I personally love the anti reflection coating despite many people on the internet hates it. I put my PC in a bright room close to window, and it's significantly better to look at than the glossy ones.
One minor downside for the monitor is the ports. The DP port is only DP 1.4, although enough to drive to the max specs of the monitors with DSC, it still feels somewhat a disappointment given this is the latest flagship model. It also doesn't have usb C ports, although it's not common in gaming monitor, I think it's much versatile. Since you can essentially use it for both data, display and even power delivery. The usb A ports on the back are not useful, unless you buy a separate mini usb cable (not included in the package) and connect it to your PC to turn the USB ports as a hub. All of it would've been solved by a single usb C port.
Overall, I really love this product and has been absolutely enjoying it.

A powerhouse of a 27" panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the clarity of the over 8 million OLED pixels to the 240hz refresh rate to the 0.03ms GtG response times, this thing delivers. Its fast without being choppy, and the viewing angles are forgiving. It takes standard VESA mounts, so I can easily add a multi monitor mount whenever I buy another one. The blacks are dark, the colors are vibrant, and the display is bright without bleeding light. It has HDR 10+ certifications and covers 100% of sRGB, so if you do work with color reproduction on the side or for a living and gaming on the side, this would be a beast of a main panel. In games, there's no trail, no choppiness, and the colors and contrast look fantastic. It supports GSYNC, FreeSync, and adaptive sync so you won't have to worry about frame buffering or fooling around with sync limiting your refresh rates. Highly recommend, would give 6 stars if I could!
