Perfect 27in 240HZ QD-OLED for Any Room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now, I know what you’re thinking: “I can never buy a matte OLED, it ruins the clarity!”.
I encourage those who work and play in bright environments to give this machine a go, the reflection handling on this monitor is unlike any I have ever seen while retaining 99% of the deep blacks that OLEDs are known for.
That slight trade-off, for me, is well worth it in order to use this monitor in any environment I choose. I have no problems using this monitor, both day and night, for this reason.
With 240hz, 4K, QD-OLED colors and a blazing fast response time, I don’t see any other 16:9 monitor on the market to buy when eyeing these specs. This is the one. The slim, metal design is sleek while the colors of HDR 10+ pop like no other display.
Don’t let the fact that it’s matte ruin your experience. Give it a go and you’ll see that the trade-off is well worth the flexibility and longevity out of this machine with its custom heat sink.

My first 27" 4K OLED Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried a 27" OLED monitor by a different brand before, but it was only QHD and not 4K. I'm happy with this Samsung's 27" 4K variant! Black levels are as black as I'd expect any OLEDs to be, and the monitor looks sleek and sharp. I do wish the monitor was a glare option as I prefer that personally, but that's okay. Out of the box, I noticed that the RGB ring behind the monitor wasn't on by default and I feel like many would miss that feature. Few parts that I thought was a bit misleading from the product photos were that the bezel is not as uniformly thin in reality, and that there's no speaker built in (as far as I'm aware). On a positive note, I'm glad to see 120Hz frame rate working on a Mac OS with DisplayPort, and not seeing in 240Hz is an operating system limitation. 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 works perfectly, and I like to use it at 2440 for retina-like experience. In terms of the build quality, it may look like silver plastic, but I like the slim metal design, too. I'll have to check out the PIP feature when I get a chance. Great sharp OLED monitor!

Amazing gaming monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung Odyssey G8 27 inch oled monitor truly is amazing. The picture is crystal clear and colors are absolutely vibrant. Very sleek looking and super thin. I would like to have had the smart tv option and remote included but other than that I’ve been very impressed by this monitor. The glare free HDR 10 works beautifully and refresh rate for gaming is smooth. PIP option is handy when you need to multitask. I would definitely recommend for anyone who’s a serious gamer or just wants to best picture quality possible for your monitor.
