Handsome Fridge!

This fridge has a very handsome design. It looks really good in our kitchen. Capacity wise, it feels a little tighter than our outgoing side-by-side but it may just take a some time to adjust to it. The door-in-door feature is a lot more useful than expected. It lets us access a lot of the stuff we use most. We even moved the eggs down to the bottom shelf so we can reach in and grab them easily. Auto-fill is a neat feature. Useful if you have your hands full. Back light wall thing is really nice. Makes it feel really high-end. If you're looking at the Cafe model but don't think the copper trim matches your kitchen, check out this fridge. I think its just as nice.
Reasons for taking a star off:
1. Capacity -- We were expecting a major space upgrade over our old fridge but it wasn't the case.
2. The stainless steel they used on the doors feel like they are of a lighter gauge compared to our outgoing fridge. They did not have this specific model at the big-box stores - only the regular GE's. We were hoping that this was going to come with a heavier duty steel with it being a "Profile" model but it feels about the same.

Other notes to consider if you're looking at this fridge:
1. There were mentions of this fridge being loud in some of the reviews we found online BUT you can really only hear it hum when its trying getting itself back to whatever you set the temp to. That was the case when it was first plugged in and that was the case when we had the doors open for a prolonged period when we were rearranging things inside. Other than that, this fridge is quiet. And even the hum you hear when its setting the temperature is not that bad.
2. Speaking of plugging it in for the first time, we heard a tapping sound. Sorta sounded like a fan blade was hitting something. The installer gave us the option to take it back but we decided to keep it. It went away after a few minutes. I think it might have just been some lubrication needing time to redistribute. No more tapping sound.
3. The side of the fridge got noticeably warm at first start up. But that went away after it reached the set temp.

Outstanding Upgrade

The LED backlight wall is even nicer than I expected. This is my first French door style fridge and it seems so spacious compared to my old side-by-side.

Major refrigerator upgrade!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely in Love with My New GE Profile Smart Refrigerator! I just had it installed today and I’m already blown away! The auto fill water feature is a game changer—no more standing around waiting for your glass to fill, and it stops automatically when it’s full. I love the little tune it plays when the glass is full…It’s little details like this that show how smart this appliance really is.
Another great feature is the versatile middle drawer with different temperature settings. Whether I want to chill drinks or store meats at a lower temp, it adjusts to whatever I need. Super convenient and incredibly well designed.
I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the extra door swing-it will just take getting used to! It actually makes accessing everything so much easier, especially in tighter kitchen spaces. It’s a thoughtful addition that really improves functionality.
Overall, this refrigerator has exceeded my expectations so far in every way—style, innovation, and performance. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen with something truly smart and sleek!

Beautiful top of the line refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is beautiful. It was set up by professionals and has many top features. I love the ability to open the front door, to just reach in and grab a snack, the butter, or milk. The soft-close drawers are a beautiful touch and they work smoothly. The in-door ice is easy to remove and dump in coolers if needed. I love the tray below the fridge that I can store meat in, but it would also be great with snacks, or even casserole dishes. Although the shelves are not super deep, the width of the fridge gives us so much more space than our previous side-by-side fridge did! Very happy with it and all the features it offers!
