Bosch 500 fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to keep temperatures very stable compared to previous. Only nitpick is the water dispenser is angled and sometimes catches my mug/water bottle at the wrong angle and causes some splashes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with our new Bosch refrigerator. The ratings from Consumers were quite good. It was a little more expensive than we originally planned on spending, however the refrierator seems to be well worth the slightly higher price. We fortuanately purchased our refrigerator before the craziness of higher tariffs. I will stick to my comments on the refrigrator. It is quiet. The entire is well thought out and easy to access both cold items and frozen items. The lighting is bright. The ice maker is quiet and efficient. The exterior is smart in design and just fits into our kitchen perfectly. I do not know how to add a photo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] solid box, doors open effortlessly, even freezer door. My only disappointment is the temperature controls. The display should report the actual temperatures, not the set points. After spending several thousand for this new refrigerator, kinda silly that I have to purchase a cheap analog thermometer to ensure the cooling is working properly and at a temp I prefer; the internal thermo (thermister?) is just not that accuate and could benefit from calibration. (btw: here's hoping Bosch releases a Standard depth 800 Series some day.)

Both doors had stains on them

I waited for over a month for the doors to be replaced. Unfortunately the repairmen did not install the light for the freezer when installing the new doors. Still waiting for that to be fixed. Recently the panel on the water display flashed error but returned to normal. We'll see.

Both fridges were defective

Ice maker on model B36FD50SNS wouldn't work so delivery guys immediately took it away. We've had this one about 10 days and ice maker is leaking.

Serious design flaw

This is the second refrigerator installed within two months. Both have the exact same issue. The left hand door that contains the external ice and water maker does not remain open. Rapidly closes every time you open the door. This is a major design flaw that Bosch is aware of. The entire reason for purchasing a French door unit is so that you can put large items in at ease.It is absolutely impossible as you have to use your hand or hip to keep the door open.Very disappointed will not purchase another product from Bosch again, which is unfortunate because I own a few that do not have problems. Bosch should be fixing this or stating this us a non fixable issue it before customers make such a large purchase. I will be contacting customer service. I am not satisfied.

Extremely Disappointed

We are extremely disappointed with this Bosch refrigerator. It is less than one year old and has been nothing but problems.
The doors do not shut properly, the ice maker stopped working, and we have completely lost the freezer THREE separate times, forcing us to throw away all of the food each time. Now the ice machine is not working at all.
For a premium-priced refrigerator, this level of unreliability is unacceptable. We expected quality and dependability from Bosch and instead received constant stress, food loss, and service issues.
I would absolutely not recommend this refrigerator based on our experience.

Ice Maker

The ice maker is very slow and sometimes makes no ice at all or very little. The left door is very light and stays open very easy. Needs force to close bothdoors
