Aiper Scuba X1 Pro is a smart, powerful pool clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Aiper Scuba X1 Pro has a sleek design and does a great job scrubbing the pool when it’s charged up. The mapping system is impressive—it actually cleans in a smart pattern instead of just bouncing around aimlessly, and it picks up fine debris really well with the MicroMesh filter and strong suction.
But here’s the downside: the battery didn’t last nearly as long as I expected. It only cleaned about half my pool before I had to pull it out and charge it again. Maybe it was the setting I used, but regardless, it felt like a letdown for something with this much tech built in.

It handles the pool floor, walls, and waterline pretty well, though it struggles with horizontal waterline cleaning, leaving some spots untouched. Battery life is good — around 3 hours but the 4hour recharge is a bit long. It’s a bit heavy to pull out, though the retrieval hook helps. While it’s a solid option for general cleaning, some navigation quirks and the occasional missed spot make me think there might be better alternatives for the price.
