Highly functional pool cleaning robot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little pool cleaning robot is super cool and functional. It’s rechargeable so no pesky cord, and it gobbles the leaves at the top of the pool. It even has a function to distribute chlorine (my pool is salt so I haven’t tried it but I love that it’s built in). This is controllable by an easy to use app on my phone. The only thing it’s missing is cleaning the sides of my pool but I think there is a fancier model that the company makes that does this. I’d love to try that one! Great product overall.

A great pool skimmer! The app needs some work thou

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very well built and sturdy pool cleaner! We have several oak trees that drop leaves in our pool and the Surfer S2 does an excellent job of skimming them when the pool isn't running and the built in skimmer is off. I was skeptical, but the solar panel actually does keep the battery charged allowing for 24/7 operation. The capacity of the debris compartment is adequate and I appreciate that it has a compartment for a chlorine tablet. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with the app. Although it does show you the battery level and gives you the ability to steer the unit, that's about all the app provides. The ability to power on/off and set schedules via the app os needed. If the app provided a more robust and useful UI, I would have given the Surfer S2 five stars.

I don't recommend this!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging when I received it really nice, very secure. The product really worked, and it was easy to follow the instructions. I didn't have a problem with the app when I downloaded it. The battery lasted longer, and I like that it is also solar. It's super nice that it has a chlorine tablet dispenser inside the filter.
The only thing I had a tiny problem with was when I tried to put the chlorine tablet inside the dispenser, I couldn't close the lid, but it was not a big deal I still made it worked. All in all, i recommend I think it's worth it and really helps you to save time to clean the pool..

Keeps my Pool looking Crystal Clear!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I am absolutely loving the Aiper Surfer S2 pool skimmer. It is so easy to use, and my pool is looking cleaner than ever. The app is also easy to download and user-friendly. The app can be used to control the direction the skimmer goes and bring it to the edge of the pool when you want to retrieve it. It would be nice if you could be able to set a timer for the Surfer. I saw several reviews where users were asking for the ability to do that...maybe Aiper could address that in the future.
The Surfer S2 came very well packaged and secure in the box. It is actually a lot lighter than it looks and has a built-in solar panel top that allows it to recharge as it cleans your pool. It does come with a charging cord to fully charge the skimmer before the first use. There are sensors on either side of the device, and if it runs into any issues, the app will notify you. It is usually an easy fix of just moving it slightly if there is an object blocking it. Otherwise, it goes around the pool on its own all day. Two little legs can be pulled out that will keep the skimmer from going on the steps and getting stuck if the water level is low.
The filter basket pops out easily and can be rinsed clean with a hose. You'll be amazed how much debris gets trapped in there.
Honestly, once you get the Surfer S2 connected to your Wi-Fi network and set up the app, it is the easiest thing to use. I take mine out in the evenings, so the pool sweeper can clean the bottom surface, but lately, there's not much to clean.
I'm excited to see how it works in the spring and fall seasons since there are large trees behind our backyard that drop a lot of debris. I think that's when the skimmer is going to come in really handy.
I can already tell that this device is definitely worth it. If you don't have a regular pool cleaner and even if you do, the Aiper Surfer S2 will do wonders helping to keep your pool clean. Do yourself a favor and get one.

Great autonomous smart robot! Love the app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought the Aiper SurferS2 and, frankly, I didn’t expect that this thing would make my life so much easier! I have an outdoor pool and dealing with debris is a constant problem: leaves, dust, insects… Previously, I had to constantly clean it with a net, which took a lot of time. Now I just lower the SurferS2 into the water and it does everything itself. It runs on a solar battery, so you don’t have to think about charging or mess with wires. Just set it and forget about it. It’s very convenient that there is a mobile app — you can literally direct it to the desired part of the pool or change the mode from the couch. In terms of efficiency, it’s absolutely fine! It perfectly collects both small debris and larger things like leaves. I was pleased with the capacious container — I don’t have to constantly run to empty it. In addition, it works almost silently — sometimes I even forget that it’s in the pool. To be honest, I found almost no downsides. The only thing is that on cloudy days it charges a little slower, but if you plan for this in advance, there are no problems. Overall, the Aiper SurferS2 is a really cool thing that saved me a lot of time and effort. Now the pool is always clean, and I can relax calmly, knowing that the device will do everything for me. If you have a pool, especially an outdoor one, I definitely recommend it!
