Blown away by this device. The new APU chip in this device maxes out Black Ops 6 & Warzone easy 120+ with no frame gen. ASUS made it easy to customize internal performance as well. Amazed that something this portable is so powerful!

So I admit, I was not sure what to expect when I purchased this device. I already have a pretty top of the line desktop, and I even have a top of the line gaming laptop (another Asus, the new 5090 Strix Scar). So think of this as an impulse buy, and a very expensive one at that.
But I will be the first to admit that I was very pleasantly surprised. This machine is quite well-built, high end materials, fit and finish what you would expect for a top end Asus ROG product. Will it replace my desktop? Don't be silly. Will it even keep up with the Scar? Of course not.
But you know what? Sometimes you need something small and compact. And something that can still perform. OK, I might not get 100+ fps running Cyberpunk 2077 with full RT and ultra settings. But... I can hit 50+ fps with really good graphics, on a beautiful display, even though it's not OLED. The Nebula display is very beautiful.
But I can also sit back in the airplane seat, put on my headphones, and enjoy a movie. I can browse the web. I can do a little bit of actual work. This is a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none type device. But that's not a bad thing. Sometimes you want to travel light. Pop this into your backpack and you're set in a good way.
So why 4 stars? I just don't like that I have to carry a huge brick of a power supply. If Asus can somehow figure out how to fix that, I'd give his 6 stars.
This is expensive, no question. But if you have the extra few dollars, it's a great buy.

Absolute powerhouse! I instantly purchased a 2TB micro SD card and 2TB 2230 NVME. Outside of that I can’t think of anything else needed to upgrade. I’ve been running Destiny 2 at ultra graphics running about 200+ FPS.
