[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm loving this Ninja indoor griddle and grill! It’s quickly become a favorite in my house. I live in a place with terrible weather, so having the option to grill indoors when it’s not nice outside is a game changer. Plus, the size is perfect for my big family, I can cook several burgers or pancakes in one go, and it’s also amazing for grilled veggies, eggs, and so many other recipes. The manual even includes some practical and yummy recipe ideas to get you started. The product comes with two interchangeable plates (grill and griddle), both nonstick and super easy to clean. It heats up quickly, and the temperature control keeps everything cooking evenly. Highly recommend!

Nice indoor grill option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great option if you live in an apartment, my husband loves to do barbecues but it’s difficult living in an apartment. This is a great idea, we have made bbq at home and it’s great. It’s not sticky at all, also great to do pancakes, specially if cooking for a lot of people, give la the size. Can cook multiple things all together. Great option! It looks sturdy and durable. You ca. Graduate the temperature what is very convenient.

You can make a lot of pancakes on this bad boy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Positives
Packaged really well with care. The quick start guide is straightforward and easy to understand, as are the buttons on the front. I like having precise temperature control.
The ceramic nonstick coating is really slick and smooth, probably my favorite nonstick coating out there.
Loud, clear beeps. Nothing overbearing, but very audible.
Mostly edge to edge heating. I ran my temp gun over several areas of the griddle, and while set to 350° the middle of it was reading in the 400s and the edges dipped as low as 290° in the front toward the panel, but that is likely to protect the electronics. I can't see there being any noticeable cold spots if it were filled edge to edge. It was cooler on the side where the food was, but that is to be expected.
The lid is very light and comes off for easy cleaning. The grill pans were also not as heavy as expected given their size and easy to clean.
Considerations
You definitely need dedicated counter space for this!. It is a great size for a family, especially if you wanted to do large batches of pancakes or breakfast or burgers, but it is about 40% the size of a regular range top.
I'm putting this as a neutral observation of the unit because I understand I'm probably outside of the norm on this one, but I didn't like that the grease tray was made of plastic. It said PET plastic with 30% glass fibers, to reinforce it and make it stronger. I tried to do some reading on the temperature safety and there isn't a lot of information out there. The number I could find was this plastic was designed for temperatures up to 302°, but I assume it's supposed to be able to handle the unit's max temperature of 500°. I am a grease saver, and if I were to use this to make say an entire tray of bacon, I wouldn't feel comfortable saving the grease after it had the possibility of leeched chemicals from the heat. So that's a downside for me, but to my knowledge the average consumer does not save grease. Just something to consider if that matters to you.
The cooking guide is... fine? But I made burgers at 350° for the recommended time and didn't quite get the grill marks I was hoping for. I wish I had done 375° or 400°. The lo/med/hi settings are okay for maybe more inexperienced cooks. They aren't going to steer you wrong, but they might not steer you totally right either. The surface area of where the burgers were at also did not maintain 350° even after several minutes and enough time to come back up from temp. It was around 230°-280° when measured with my temp gun. So I'd recommend going 25°-50° above where you're aiming if you are trying to sear meat.
Downsides
Chipped on the grill plate in one small spot but doesn't affect performance. Has me concerned for potential food chips in food, however.
The lid does not give me enough clearance under the cabinet when opened. I have upper cabinets mounted at standard and I have small hands and if I was careful I could grab the lid without touching the hot part, but that had me a bit concerned.
Spatter - this thing splattered pretty bad, worse than using a pan or the griddle portion of my stove. It splattered grease all over the front of the unit, my shirt, and the floor and I don't have that issue when I just fry burgers in a regular pan. The quality of the nonstick may actually be a downside here as the grease seemed to quite literally fly off the surface. Having the lid down helped a little, but these grease incidents happened when opening the lid to flip the burgers. It splattered before I had even flipped them.
Odor - the lid of this has vents which is nice for cooking, but there's nothing to take care of any cooking odors, so if you have an island mounted hood vent or use it outdoors/open space it would be fine. I think that's just one of the caveats of a product like this.
Unfortunately, my biggest gripe is that part of the front left panel warped after heating up on the low setting of 350°. I'm not sure if I got a defective unit or not, but it had me a bit wary of the build quality. The front panel portion that warped is made assumedly from the same type of plastic that the grease tray is, and if it warped being that close to the heating element, it's another thing that gave me pause about saving the grease. It also popped loudly several times when I turned the grill for the first time, and I'm guessing one of those pops was that front panel warping.
Conclusion
2.8/5.
It's not the worst thing ever built, but a thin metal stamped grease tray and more durable plastic could make this a lot better. It's good for indoor grilling in the winter, but I don't see it as a true grill replacement. I'd recommend it if the most important thing to you is the size, because it definitely delivers on that. Go big or go home!

Large cooking surface. Easy to clean. The controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the size of the griddle. I made so many more pancakes at once that I just wiped it clean and I started some egg. Nice. It cuts the cooking time in half. I set the wrong temperature for the pancakes so the first couple were not so light brown. The controls are pretty straightforward. Easy to read and see. This is bigger than the stove in the camper. It's not a lite appliance yet it is stable and the cord is set where it doesn't get in the way. I'm going to use the grill for some Brats this weekend. Thank you.

Great indoor grill and griddle
on April 25, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great indoor grill it was very easy to use and clean. Also quick to change from grill to griddle was nice. It’s huge in size fit plenty of hamburgers, chicken breast, and pancakes when we used it the temperature is good and easy to adjust. Overall we have now used this like 6 times in one week and we like it very much especially since it’s not quite warm outside to grill yet but it will come handy all year round for quick dinners and breakfast.

Great griddle/grill!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve definitely found my new griddle/grill, it’s amazing! I love the way it cooks, it cooked our bacon evenly, it grilled our chicken just the way we like it for chicken salad. The temperature seems spot on. And it was very easy to clean. Love all Ninja products
