I consistently achieved over 1.3 GB/s for both sequential read and write operations, which is a significant leap forward compared to previous-generation drives. I have the 990 Pro model to compare with. This speed makes a noticeable difference in tasks like transferring large files, booting up my system, and loading resource-heavy applications like AI model training. For anyone looking to future-proof their storage or handle demanding workloads, these speeds are a game-changer.
Another key feature is the 1TB SSD capacity, which strikes an excellent balance between storage space and performance. Even though I’m currently running it in a setup that technically caps performance, the results are still stunning. I’m clocking over 3x the speed of my previous USB4-based SSD. With my enclosure rated at 3189 MB/s, this drive is hitting peak performance, giving me read and write speeds north of 3100 MB/s. What does that mean in real-world terms? Faster transfers, smoother editing, quicker renders, and most importantly, faster client delivery.
But it’s not just about raw speed. The real magic happens in the edit bay:
* I can now edit 6K Blackmagic RAW content in real time without needing to create proxies or downscale my timeline.
* Multicam workflows feel effortless—syncing, scrubbing, and switching angles now happen with fewer processing lags.

The ssd has stupid fast transfer speeds it is way better on electricity efficiency than any of my others i have used. This was pretty easy to install for someone who is experienced in this type of thing also. I'm very impressed with everything about this SSD and works recommend this to anyone looking in increase their productivity.
