Samsung: Slightly faster sequential (7450/6900 MB/s), better power efficiency, strong software. 
WD Black: Better value, larger cache for sustained writes, gaming-focused. 
Both excellent reliability/endurance; pick Samsung for max speed/efficiency, WD for price/performance.
