Excellent sequential speeds that double many Gen4 drives.
Strong real-world application and content creation performance.
Outstanding power efficiency and relatively cool operation (especially with the included or a quality motherboard heatsink).
Single-sided design aids compatibility and thermals.
Weaknesses:
Random 4K write speeds can lag behind some Phison-based competitors in specific tests.
Gaming benchmarks (e.g., 3DMark Storage) are solid but not always class-leading.
For everyday users or gamers on Gen4 systems, the jump from a good Gen4 SSD (like Samsung's own 990 PRO) may feel incremental rather than transformative.
