The BEST Cleaning IRobot EVER !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You need this iRobot ! I love this thing it not only mops my floor it also sweeps it self empty the trash . It mops and sweep very good I also love you can control it from your phone and have it on a timed schedule daily ! It's pretty quiet not to loud and the battery last a long time . You can also choose the level of cleaning and a specific area you need cleaned ! Especially if you have a dog or cat this is amazing !

Amazing robot

My golden retriever sheds so much and this vacuum/mop combo has been a lifesaver. Between vacuuming his hair and mopping his messy drink area, this roomba does it all. I watched a video to do the setup and use the app to control the robot. I highly recommend this to anyone who’s in the market for a vacuum/mop!

Great to use on a programmable app!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is most definitely a very effective house cleaning 🧹 product that alleviates having to clean the floors by hand or vacuum . It comes with a loading dock to program as well that you have an app for also. The battery life is fairly efficient as well. I like that it is not very noisy. I feel very thankful that I was selected by #influenster for this wonderful gift 🎁! Thank you for this amazing device to help clean my home and keep it sparkling clean!

Good combo vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robot vacuums have come a long way since I had my first robot vacuum ten years ago. Setting up the robot and doing the initial mapping is easy with the Roomba Home App. The Lidar navigation is precise, and it only took one pass to get an accurate mapping of my home. It avoided objects pretty good and didn’t get hung up on the cords that I wasn’t able to get out of the way. It’s easy to divide and name the room in the app. I have laminate, tile and carpeted flooring as well as numerous rugs and runners. It does a great job of vacuuming all the different surfaces and I had no issue with battery life when cleaning a 1,500 sq ft area. It’s a bit louder than my other robot vacuum, especially when emptying the bag but it’s not a deal breaker to me. I do find the app a bit cumbersome and time consuming though when scheduling cleaning routines. I was super excited about the dual water tanks as well as the mop washing and mop drying features. I don’t enjoy mopping. Unfortunately, these features need some improvements. The water tanks are small, the mop pads leave the floor too wet, and the long drying cycle doesn’t fully dry the pads. Also, this model doesn’t have the edge cleaning feature so it doesn’t do a very good job of mopping the edges. All in all, it’s a pretty decent robot vacuum and with some improvements to the app, and the mopping features, it could be a great vacuum. It cleans well enough that it has drastically cut down on the time I spend manually vacuuming and mopping my home. That’s a win in my book.

Absolutely love the maintenance for cleaning floor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where do I even begin? I absolutely love this thing! We have two other roombas - one just does carpet and the other vacuums and mops, but it doesn’t have a refilling station and holy buckets is that a game changer! We set this on a schedule to vacuum and mop MWF, which would never happen previously, so it’s amazing to come downstairs at lunch and your floors have been cleaned almost by themselves.
It also dries off the pads, so you don’t have to worry they will get mildew.
Downside is that it’s more of a maintenance thing, so it’s not going to get any really grubby floors - so you’ll want to do a heavy duty cleaning before, but again I’m not mopping three days a week so this is amazing.

Amazing combo for your floors!

I use the app, so I'm able to select which areas I'd like the Roomba to clean, making it easy and efficient. Its self-cleaning feature is great as well.

Not for me, but good for someone else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roomba was quite the experience. I've never had a robot vacuum before, so this was a first time for me.
After assembly, you have to set up the robot via an app. It was confusing because there were 2 apps in the app store. The correct app is called Robot Home. It's a little frustrating and takes a while to set up (connect to wifi, make a name, make an account, etc).
After the initial setup is complete, you can start to make maps for the Roomba to clean. You can edit the names of the maps & rooms. It won't clean while creating a map.
When you want to start cleaning, you can choose different settings in the app. Examples include: vacuum or mop only, vacuum & mop, or vacuum then mop, how many passes, suction level, scrub level, etc.
In order to use the mop, it can use clean water only or water with a specific, Roomba approved solution. That's a little annoying that I have to buy a separate solution. I didn't want to purchase it, so I just used plain water.
When cleaning, all cords must be moved because it will easily get tangled. Sometimes it misses a few spots, especially when on carpet. It only cleaned surface debris on carpet, it couldn't give it a deep clean (even on the more powerful suction). It cleaned perfectly fine on flat tile surfaces.
When it's done cleaning, it returns to the dock and empties the dirty water & empties the debris into the vacuum bag.
Overall, this isn't for me and my home/lifestyle. The app can sometimes be confusing. I have a small home, so it would be faster to just do these things by hand rather than a robot to do it.
In my opinion, if you had a larger home with wide open spaces (no carpet) this would be perfect. I would even say it would be great for older people, if they know how to work an app and had large empty floor spaces.
You can pick up the Roomba, and place it in a different room to clean, but it will have a hard time trying to find the home dock. If you move the dock, you have to reset the map to reset the Roomba's home.

Nifty little contraption!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok this thing is great for a quick and easy clean! I turned it on and it went through the whole house to map it out and then we set it to clean and mop. It can sweep and mop at the same time, meaning it doesn’t have to go through the whole house twice. Obviously smaller spaces like corners and whatnot are more difficult but it has a little spinning brush head to push things out of crevices which is cool. It works on my shag rug in my room which is a definite bonus because it’s a pain to clean. It shows you on the app all the rooms and what its progress is and you can choose to do just one room at a time if you’d like. The only downfall is you have to be very careful with cords because it will go right over them and suck them up. I am overall very pleased with it!
