My little robot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this little robot!! You can tell how much work went into having this little robot created. Roomba did a great job mapping out the house. It went under the bed and that’s when I found out it has a LIGHT! This is a quality product! The dock is neat too, it even has a storage space for extra bags and mops! It does a great job! Would I have purchased this without trying it? No. It’s a pricey machine. BUT it’s totally worth it.

Hands down the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an absolute life saver. If you have a child, dog or messy partner you need this in your life. It can map your hole house and avoid obstacles. The Roomba plus 505 also recognizes objects in its way and easily avoids them. Everything can be coordinated from the app: which room you want cleaned, if you want it mopped and vacuumed, deep cleaning, how many passes, how strong you want the suction to be and if you have a sticky mess you can turn on smart scrub and it will be gone in a heartbeat. Roomba plus empties out the dustbin automatically after every cleaning as well as cleans and dries the mop pads. There is literally nothing you need to do other than filling up the clean water tank and emptying the dirty water. It doesn’t get any easier and cleaner than this. Get it now and you will thank yourself later

Maybe I received a dud...?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive this Roomba in a promotion to test and review.
We had just recently installed hardwood flooring in our home and I was thinking of getting one so it was perfect timing.
Or so I thought...
Let me start by saying I believe I have received a defective product.
I followed all of the instructions, (which were not many) set up the app on my phone and proceeded to test it out.
The setup was fairly easy, although the first problem was the Roomba would not dock correctly. It has to dock correctly to charge. I tried manually placing it on the dock and it just kept coming out and spinning around. It tries to dock but for some reason it can't get it right. After an hour or so I finally got it to stay in place to charge.
After it charged I set it to map the room, and it only did half of the room. My room was clean and clutter free, all other doors closed and nothing in its way.
It did somewhat of a cleaning session and when it was done it couldn't dock to empty out the debris and charge.
I looked up every possible way to troubleshoot it including factory resetting, rebooting, cleaning the dock points, and relocating the dock but it did not solve the problem. At this point I can no longer get it to charge manually. It powers off and will not stay in the dock to charge.
I contacted Roomba support and they had me do the same steps all over again.
Still no luck...They would not help me any further because it is a promotional product and is not eligible for a warranty without receipt. There was not much information on this specific product online either.
I have tried for the last week to fix it with no success and no help from the manufacturer.
I really wanted to like this machine and this brand but at this point I do not recommend it at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game changer! living in the desert with two dogs really means I'm constantly cleaning everything. This vaccum takes the floor cleaning out my routines ! I love that I can set it to run at night or when everyone's at work! We names ours moppy mcmopface.
I've had other robot vaccums but having to clean themafter every use take the set it and forget it aspect out of having one. With the Roomba 505, it both pad washed and empties its own dust bin.
Definitely recommend this to everyone I see

Leaves streaks on my tiles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house is all tile so I was excited to get a robot vacuum that also mops. I’m taking off a star, because it does leave steaks on my tiles when it mops. The app sometimes is a little slow but overall it’s easy to schedule. The noise level bothers my family but it doesn’t bother me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial Impressions: The 505 demonstrated impressive room mapping capabilities, efficiently and accurately mapping my house (4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) in approximately 28 minutes. Cleaning Performance: The device has performed satisfactorily in cleaning tasks, particularly in mopping and corner navigation. Overall, I am impressed with its performance and will conduct further testing throughout the week. Notable Feature: The device's exceptionally quiet operation is a significant advantage, as it does not disrupt my pets.

BEST VACUUM EVER! ITS A MUST HAVE

The cleaning performance is just great,it picks up all my dog hair, and crumbs, and so much more, and i even love more that it has auto wash as well . Love slef cleaning. The battery life is great!! I love all the extras and more. I Highly recommend this .

A superior vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I love this! It just feels so luxe to start with. The noise level is minimal. This provides a very good cleaning for both vacuuming and the moping feature. It’s easy to set up. The battery lasts a good amount of time as well. I have wanted one of these for a long time and I am thrilled with its performance. It really is worth the buy and you won’t regret it. I can’t believe I went without it all this time. A thousand times yes on this product.
