Dependable and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the CyberPower GX900UC Slim Battery Backup at my remote lake house where power outages are common, especially during storms. This little device has been a lifesaver. It’s slim enough to fit behind a desk or entertainment center, and I love that it has both battery and surge-protected outlets. I plug in my modem, router, and a lamp so I’m not completely in the dark when the power goes out. The USB ports are a nice bonus for charging devices. It gives me peace of mind knowing I have time to safely shut things down or stay online briefly during an outage. For a house that loses power frequently, this backup unit is worth every penny. Easy setup, dependable performance, and a must-have for rural or seasonal homes.

It just protect you device from rapid electricity loss. I also thought I can use it as a big power bank, but looks like not. It’s also pretty heavy.

Set it up under my desk, and while it’s a little louder than I thought it would be (like a quiet fan noise) it works perfectly. Plugged in my laptop and phone, both seemed to charge as efficiently as if they would if plugged directly in the wall, and now I have reassurance if there is a power outage I won’t have any issues.

Useful beyond gaming

I think this is the most affordable one I’ve seen thus far, and will definitely be using it for more than my PC. Also, the light up thing is cute.
