It is working fine no smoke now but we did have some from Canada fires recently. It did the job.

Manual reset

I installed my new filter but my app still says I need to install new filter. It requires a manual reset and I was unable to do that.

Honestly their filter systems are great, quiet and the wireless features work smoothly. The best part (I think) is the filter subscription. Remembering to replace filters on your own never happens.

Helps...but does not eliminate cigar smoke odor

I purchased specifically for my cigar smoke. While the "fresh air" light goes on relatively quickly, the smoke odor lingers. My neighbors (I live in apt building) "remind" me they can smell the smoke! I also find I have to crack the window open to help the filter do its job. 2. That said, I consider the 311I Max a good product...good enough that I bought a second for the bedroom! I recommend the unit!

Stopped sensing air quality

This machine was great, it turned on every time we were cooking. It would even turn on across the room if we opened up our powdered vitamins. Ever since I replaced the air filter, the machine now states air quality is “excellent” all the time. It doesn’t even turn on when the room is full of smoke from cooking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased the Blue Air unit. It has met all expectations even used in normal conditions. It was time to replace the filter and, since we have forest fires this time of year, we ordered the smoke block filter and it has worked perfectly.
