Great dashcam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try out a duel dashcam . one for the front and one for the back window. I got the Sims cards to go in each camera. I hooked them up myself without any help, and they came on beautiful. It was super easy. I had mounts for them also. They have night vision on them. The video is very clear. I am so excited about them. I will buy another one for my father's Christmas present.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NEXTB 222XR DASH CAM is easy to install and goes wireless if installed using power cable in the mount. It has a great resolution and helps me monitor surroundings of the road and records everything. It is sleek and lightweight. I highly recommend it as a great buy!

Great Size, Great Features!

The Nextbase 222XR is perfect for him. It’s a good size, not too big even with the rear facing camera attached, which connects easily to the side. The dash cam comes with a click and go mount which is easy to use. The power cable connects directly to the mount, keeping it neat and tidy and the cables can be hidden. The camera automatically starts or stops recording when the car is turned on or off and includes a great feature that protects the recording if there is an accident ensuring that it is not recorded over. The camera display is clear and has good definition. Another great feature is the intelligent parking mode which will begin recording if motion is picked up near the car when parked.
This is a handy little dash cam with great features, I definitely reccomend.

Compact forward & rear Recorder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a camera system that would record my travels and wake up if my car was bumped when I wasn't there! This is a lightweight unit that does it all. The mini SD card pops out and when used with the USB reader & your computer you can view all that was going on. It comes with a very long power cord that plug to a cigarette lighter. It tucked out of the way nicely around the windscreen down the A pillar and under the mats to the power outlet. The suction cup mount works well but does not quite allow the full tilt of the camera to see the hood. This is a factor of my particular windscreen! The images are clear and will even record voice if enabled.

Easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little surprised at how easy set up was on this. It really is just a plug and go sort of device. The cord management is awkward, and you'll probably want to invest in some clips to contain it. It's a very, very long cord, which is great for making sure you can place the dash cam wherever you want and less great for not getting tangled. Just as a heads up, you are supposed to charge it for a few hours before putting it in the car, so don't be like me and pull it out right before going for a drive.
It starts recording as soon as you turn it on, and when it's plugged in it turns on when the car does. You can turn recording off though, if you want. The recording quality is on the low side, but it is still clear enough for it's intended use.
My main complaint is the reverse camera. Like, there was literally nowhere on my windshield that I could place it to actually get anything other than the inside of my car. It's kind of useless. Maybe it works better in a different make/model. (I have a Ford Focus hatchback). The main camera is easy enough to position though, and gets a pretty clear shot of the front of the car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dash cam was extremely easy to mount and adjust the view, but didnt come with clear instructions for use. I had to go online and look up instructions for the different functions, which i feel should have came with the device and customers/users shouldn't have to look up online how to use the product. Overall great product.
