Enjoying the car mount

The concept of this car mount is excellent; however, I have a heavy phone and I needed to use an extra tape of glue to keep my phone from falling off the mount.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You sent a car mount replacement, which was not necessary. There is nothing wrong with the mount. The issue is the adhesive. I put the replacement mount in my car and it lasted a grand total of 10 minutes before the adhesive just let go. I don’t understand the issue. I had one mount stay on for over a year. Ever since I can’t seem to get the adhesive to hold longer than a day. So, I can’t even get through the 24 hour waiting period before I add my phone. If you had the current mount version that attaches to the vent mount, I would totally buy that one.

Needs stronger and more hear resistant adhesive

I love this mount but the adhesive it comes with is not great. I have a large phone and also bought the charger that sticks to this. When I use the charger and my phone the adhesive can't hold them and the mount comes off. Additionally, on hot days (basically any day in summer) the adhesive gives way even when nothing is mounted. I'll come back to my car after work and mount has fallen off. I suppose the mount would work if you have a flat horizontal surface in your car but I don't, so I have to mount it vertically which then also has more force acting on it from gravity. And unfortunately they don't seem to sell replacement adhesive so it's basically useless now.

I really wanted to love this. The issues is not with the car mount, it is with the grip (the part that attached to your phone). The adhesive does not hold a phone for long. I did not have any issues with my grip when using in my hand, but when you attach to the magnetic grip, it soon fails to hold the phone. Oh Snap sent 2 more adhesive rings for the grip, but keeps failing. I believe that this might be due to the car mount being somewhat near the car vents/windshield and when the adhesive warms up, it can no longer support the weight of a phone. As I generally use the mont for navigation, this is an issue when it drops off the mount and slides under the seat...when you are going down the freeway in traffic.

No adhesive grip whatsoever

I don't know if I got a dud, but the adhesive that came with the mount doesn't stick to anything in my car. I have never seen something so weak. My friend has the same mount and didn't have this issue.
