Does not last (even with replacement adhesives)

I was very disappointed in the snap car mount and the replacement adhesives I used to try to extend its lifetime. My original snap car mount lasted about a month (in which I thought it was excellent) before it fell off one day (it was on a cleaned, flat surface in my car). I ordered some replacement adhesives that were designed to be used for the snap car mount, and I invested in a windshield cover to reduce sunlight exposure to my car mount. After sticking the first new adhesive on the bottom, the snap car mount lasted maybe a week, at most, before it succumbed to gravity. I was very disappointed, but I was hopeful for the second replacement because the instructions involved removing the adhesive from the bottom of the snap car mount altogether before applying the new one this time. Unfortunately, after letting the new adhesive cure on the car mount for 2 hours, then cleaning (a different) flat part of my car, then sticking the car mount to my car overnight without putting any weight on it: it fell off the very next day! I love my other OhSnap products, but this one just doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This mount sucks as well as the pop socket. The part that is supposed to attach to your dash is about the size of a quarter. I would not even try and use this thing

The right mount for the job!

Recommend buying this with your original purchase. I bought a different car mount and it was good for a while but the magnet was so strong, over time I ended up pulling the mount of the dash. This is just strong enough to hold the phone but easy to remove the phone.

Soooooo much better than the clunky robotic looking arm thing that needs a large spot on your dash. Once you get the lining up part all figured out - it's a breeze. Sturdy & Holds well.

Maybe it’s the southern heat that kept this mount from staying attached to the car, but since its purchase, I’ve not been able to use this expensive mount as it should be used. A bummer as I love my phone’s Snap. I placed two stars as the magnet is amazing, just the adhesive for the car mount did not live up to the hype.
