I bought an OhSnap grip earlier this year but I was still using a traditional Magsafe charger every night. This meant sliding the grip off every night, which eventually scratched up my case.I ended up buying an OhSnap case, the Snap Charge and the stand, and it's all working very well together - just as it's supposed to. The Snap Charge attaches firmly to the stand, and when I place my phone nearby, it locks it right into place. While I could sorta charge my phone on Magsafe with the grip on there, it was not a good magnetic connection so it wouldn't hold in place or fully charge. So at this point my phone is fully OhSnap'd out and it's working well.
I've been an o snap consumer for about two years now in purchase, along with wall mount accessories in carmon accessories. I got a new phone in my osnap. Pop socket was pretty old, so I decided to get a newer one that matched my phone. Turns out the new ones aren't like the old ones and none of my accessories work anymore. And I have to buy all the accessories again, like the wall mount in the car mount. Because I don't stay on. Like they used to any more. Super disappointing
I have the Oh Snap for my phone and this looked like a great way to charge and with a magnet to make sure it always snapped to the right spot. It just makes my phone really hot and charges so slow, if you are playing any media while charging it will take hours for it to work. I didn't even want to use over night in case of overheating. I have an iPhone for work and Android for personal use and it was the same for both. Save your money and get something else.
I’ve ordered 2 of these and neither one of them stay connected long enough to charge. I have the ohsnap car mount and the ohsnap pop socket (which I do love!), which is all recommended, but still does not work.
The Snap Charge Qi2 cannot be used with the Snap Grip. The ads and website made me think that it would charge through. That's why I was looking at these products: wireless charging and mounting with charge through grip. But, when I saw complaints on Facebook (after purchasing) about it not working, the company said that you're supposed to take the grip off to charge. Okay, fine, I will take the grip off but then I realize the charge is extremely slow and even though it works as a trickle charge, it makes the phone and the charger both unreasonably hot. If it's not a fire hazard, it's at least bad for the phone and battery. Hopefully this review will be seen by others with Samsung Galaxy S24+ and you will not make the same mistake I did. It's a lot of money to lose.
