Clogs with...pet hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 mo old Pet Hair washer has already required service to remove a small amount of dog hair from an inaccessible drain pump filter. In my research, I made certain the filter was easy to get to. The manual shows the filter as accessible, but the manual does not match the actual model. The top and front panels have to be removed to get to it. Service calls to clear a drain pump filter of pet hair every few months for the life of the washer MADE FOR PET HAIR is unacceptable. Do better Maytag!!!

Brand New Washer Stopped Working !

It is displaying an error message: F5E3 not sure what that means but the washer will not reset. Not impressed with my new purchase at all!

New and already broken

Like the pet hair power feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer on April 5, 2025. Today, May 15, 2025 I had to call for a repair on this washer. Fortunately it’s under warranty, but we are without a washer until it’s repaired. I’ll have to think long and hard before buying another Maytag appliance.

Huge design flaw-buyer beware

I bought this washer four months ago. I really wanted to like it, but after four months it stopped working. After tons of troubleshooting, I found out that there is an internal filter that is only accessible from the bottom, and thus typically needs a Maytag repair person to come and fix it. The only accessible filter is the special pet filter, which isn't that effective. If you're willing to figure out a way to lift the washer to get to the internal filter or are ok contacting a repair person every few months then this washer is fine. Otherwise keep looking. Be careful of reviews that are for recent purchases, this only becomes an issue after a few months.

Good Solid Machine. Poor instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this unit for a week so still have a lot to learn about it. The learning about it is really the weak point i have discovered so far. Then enclosed instructions are very weak in detail. Trying to find the manual on line is equally frustrating. While it is true that many people don't read all the manual, it shouldn't be that hard to find the instructions. Connecting the WIFI is a good example. Activating the Pet Pro feature is also not that intuitive and some clear instructions included with the machine would have been helpful.
In terms of performance, so far so good, but still learning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new pet pro hair trap doesn't work well. Fur remains all over the drum and I have to vacuum it. I wouldn't buy again or recommend. Maytag should offer a free inspection from your team.
