would be great if it didn't keep giving issues

I bought this fridge and a couple weeks later it stopped keeping cold so someone was sent and instead of sending me a new fridge the put a part in my brand new fridge,now a month or so after the part being replaced it's doing the same thing and I am told they will replace the part again instead of taking this fridge back and getting me a new one when obviously they brought me a fridge that was messed up to begin with
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sorry only three stars. The old saying "they just don't make things the way they used to" comes to mind here. Our old GE Profile fridge we had in our home gave us 18 great years of service. Buying this fridge was a step in the wrong direction for us. On us...we should have spent the extra money to buy a better fridge. It works. It does its job. Not complaining.
Shame on us / buyers beware. Bought this fridge online without being able to see it anywhere in person (not available in any showroom anywhere in NE of the US). We read the reviews and looked at every picture we could zoom in on.
If we could return this fridge we would and here is why. At the mercy of non adjustable fridge shelves (which we knew about from the photos) make it difficult to store food and containers. The lighting is not good in the fridge. All three of the slide out drawers (one delli and two produce) feel like they are only a few pull outs away from breaking (cheap plastic on plastic no wheels on the slide out tracks). The fridge door had no neutral position. When opened half way the door would take off to wide open bouncing hard on the hinges. Had a tech come out to make an unsuccessful door adjustment attempt. We ended up putting two pieces of 1/2" plywood under the front rollers to find a semi neutral position but when the door takes off it is still bouncing off the hinges. Over time (years) this will be a problem. This fridge should have come with an extra door storage bin. We ended up buying another one to fill help alleviate our storage issues. The ice maker bin components are cheap. Just another thing that over time (years of time) we know will be a problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Attractive With Nice Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this side-by-side refrigerator/freezer to replace our old twenty-nine year old Maytag refrigerator! The new model is aesthetically pleasing; and the new extended chrome door handles are especially attractive. We are enjoying the ice and water dispensers which are accessible without opening the freezer door. Also, to have a choice between ice cubes and crushed ice is a nice feature. This appliance operates much more quietly than our previous model. The interior soda can rack is nice to have as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor engineering!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it won't keep the correct temperature in the freezer compartment. Also, the placement of the dispenser light is ridiculous. Instead of shining down on the area you need to see the light is behind the dispensers.

Loud refrigerator
