Other refrigerators we have had leaked water at the dispensing areas in the door and my wife got tired of wiping up the water. We love the fact that she does not have to deal with this anymore.

Good refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Maytag fridge for 3 weeks. So far very good. Plenty of room in the fridge. Inside ice maker and makes plenty of ice. Freezer is a little small. Everything is great. I looked at a lot of refrigerator before I bought this one. The fact that it has a 10 warranty on the compressor sold me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving this fridge a chance because our fridge of only 4 years died unexpectedly. So far, this Maytag is annoyingly loud when fan and compressor are operating. Also, the left hinge was installed a 1/4” too low at the factory. To fix alignment with right door, 2 nylon washer were used to adjust, but now the door won’t stay open. Freezer drawer hardware sometimes slightly misaligns, doesn’t instill confidence it will last. Well, at least it keeps things cold and makes ice. Not really impressed with craftsmanship.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finishing of the product is truly worse - some of the joints, hinges are not painted, and just left as is. The compressor does make a loud noise even when you have music playing, and it is worse when there is silence - not a quiet unit (just be prepared). Freezer compartment is not huge enough. Pictures vs. reality - totally different.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It keeps my items SUPER nice and cool and isn't noisy at all. It also holds SO MUCH, and I love all of the organizational components it has to keep the fridge organized.
