Love my new SQ dryer! It's simple, easy to operate, has a large opening, light inside, easy to clean lint trap. Just a great and thoughtful design from top to bottom. And, we were able to support our local small appliance dealer because it wasn't available at a big box store. I also love the matte black color!

Has been a good dryer

It is a learning curve after having the other big brands out there. It does not seem like the dryness sensor works as well as other brands do. when using auto the clothes are still damp. But when using the time dry it works great

Matches my new washer

Haha! My Whirlpool washer went out, and I hate mismatched washer/dryer in the back door utility room (the most used entrance to our house). I went with Speed Queen in matte black. The pair looks very elegant and actually upgrades the look of the utility room. I LOVE my washer and have no complaints for the dryer. I appreciate the easily accessible lint trap and the steam feature. I had never used a ‘sensing dry’ feature - just always guessed and set the timer. This dryer has only a 30 min or a 60 minute dry and since I usually dried for 20-45 minutes, I’m using the sense dry feature and a couple times the ‘almost dry’. Again, no complaints.
