[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung and I go way back. This Samsung tv is my second one. My first one is still working great. I just wanted a little upgrade and I'm totally blown away. All I need to say is, WOW! I originally became a die hard Samsung phone and tablet fan. Samsung's tvs are now my go to as well. I can't say enough about the superior quality. You'll just have to see for yourself. Samsung, great job and thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have come to find that the TV is very intelligent calibrated self with your phone and minimal thinking that a person has to do it does it for you TV is very clear and resolution is wonderful and the colors are very vibrant stays on task the brightness isn't too bright in the dark areas also the contrast works very very well.

Streaming and so much more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the surprise for me was the in depth streaming connections. it can be overwhelming at times. the connections are quick and resolution is outstanding. many of the connections are to services or movies or apps that do require subscription so beware its not all free. the samsung plus connection is well catergorized and lots of choices.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Black color is overexposed

I’ve owned Samsung TVs for years, and they’ve always been my favorite. When I moved to a new apartment, I purchased the 75” QLED Q8F, confident it would be just as great. Unfortunately, the picture quality has been very disappointing—especially the black levels in dark scenes. The blacks look overexposed, and nothing I’ve tried has fixed it. I’ve adjusted picture modes, turned AI mode on and off, and even tried different movies, but the issue remains. I’m really frustrated and wish I could return this TV. I’ll probably switch to an OLED or try another brand instead. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your input on the picture quality of Samsung’s Q8F TV. I see you have already explored some settings, but I wanted to offer the following adjustments in case they haven’t been tried yet:

First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

Then, select a Picture Mode that best fits your environment: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1. Standard – Default mode for general viewing
2. Dynamic – Brighter and clearer in well-lit rooms
3. Eco – Optimized for energy saving
4. Movie – Best for watching in dark environments
5. Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content exactly as intended by creators

You can also enhance your experience by enabling AI Mode, which automatically adjusts picture and sound based on your surroundings and usage patterns: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > AI Mode Settings > AI Mode
Features that can help with picture quality include:
• Adaptive Picture > AI Optimized: Automatically adjusts picture settings based on lighting and what you're watching.
• EyeComfort Mode: Reduces brightness and adds warmer tones based on time of day and room lighting.
• AI Customization Mode: Allows the TV to recognize content types (like sports or movies) and apply your preferred picture settings for each.
