The temp gauge kit arrived quickly and is very complete right parts and a tool. Easy to install. I did have some programming issues but found the answer in the instructions. Unsure of accuracy but it’s a tool I use to start my pizza processing. I do lots of Detroit style so I start at a lower temp. The gauge allows me to par bake the crust easily

Works well but there’s no place to attach the wire like the diagram showed. Thatcsaid, pretty minor and nice to know what the temp is within the ooni.

Pretty, but does not perform

My new Karu 2 Pro came with this unit. It has not worked all that well. When the temperature of the oven gets above about 425 degrees F, the unit stops reading and it gives you a --:-- reading. I think this is a cable issue. I have been in contact with Ooni, they had me try some of their standard troubleshooting solutions, but no change. At this point we are trying to locate the receipt for the purchase of the unit so we can get a replacement. Unfortunately, we have not located it yet. Plus, this is not a guaranteed fix.

Pairing is a challenge. Sometimes it comes right up and syncs to Bluetooth phone. Other times not. Also when it does sync it repeatedly drops when I move around. It would be great if it synced like MEATER and used the cloud and WiFi. Next version or upgrade?

not sure it was worth the extra money for the digital temperature hub. It never gets above 750 and all the recipes talk about coking up to 950. I confirmed with the IR gauge that we are hitting 950 in the oven, but the digital readout leads you to believe otherwise.
