The best pizza oven out there!

After a shocking experience with another pizza oven supplier, we invested in an Ooni. I cannot believe how good it is. Not one underdone or burnt pizza since the very first one! It’s brilliant! Cannot recommend it enough

Overall, the oven works very well and the rotating tray is excellent. I’ve encountered a significant problem with the rear deflector being positioned too low: when the pizza rotates, it touches the edge of the pizza, burning it or setting it alight. The deflector could perhaps have been positioned 1 cm higher.

I had to look up the right cooking method on line and I didn't use durum wheat semolina right away-even though it is necessary to prevent the dough from sticking to the steel peel.

I am very suspect of Ooni

I am very technical and usually pick stuff up quickly. Maybe I got a bad one but this IS NOT AT ALL WHAT IS ADVERTISED. This oven does NOT cook evenly. After experimenting many times only way to sorta cook one good is to turn it manually and between each pizza turn it all the way up and as soon as pizza goes in turn it all the way down. And the digital temp sensor which we got sucked into buying is complete joke. Temp on that will be 350 and back of stone is 750 and front is 400. So what good is that. Please explain. And no door in unit means front of stone is always cool compared to rear. Used laser temp and only way I found to cook several pizzas back to back is as described above. Trick was using laser and getting front of stone at least to 500 and of course back is 800. Pizza are nearly impossible not to burn at least half to quarter of sides. Bottoms hard to get consistently cooked when dealing with variation in temps on stone. Like I said maybe I got a bad one but my instincts is this is completely a terrible design with gimmick extra charge for temp monitor. I feel like I got scammed.
