Poor performance and non working temp gauge

Temp gauge worked at first and then stopped working during first use.
Temp never got up beyond 390 degrees.
Takes much longer to heat up then 15 minutes. We operated for over an hour and still temp not over 390.
Cryptic assembly instructions with tiny pics and tiny text not acceptable.
We first used the device for first time last night and are very disappointed.
I would like an explanation of why this device performed so badly and request a replacement.

Tasty Fun! Worth the investment!

The oven is amazing and works exceptionally well! I am still learning about the science of dough and art of stretching pizzas, but my friends are pretty happy about the pizzas I’ve been feeding them. I’ve made 84 so far and hope to make a total of 1000 before August 8th. I’m going to try to feed as many people as many pizzas as I can. By mid August I should be making some very good pizzas! It’s my crash course master class in pizza making. The app and dough calculator are very helpful as well. Rotating stone system is definitely worth the extra money.

Versatile, powerful device! Have made some pizzas and steaks to great family reviews. We got it for our beachouse and now the family wants to go every weekend more for the food than the beach!

New Ooni - temperature not as high as adverstised

Set up was easy. I got the temperature up to 750 when seasoning oven/stones. When I then used it to cook my first pizza the max temp was only 650. Ooni advertises a max temp of 950.
