Used the new Ooni oven this past Friday night and made 21 pizzas for members of my congregation. Oven heats up quickly, is easy to clean made with sturdy durable materials and was easy to operate. Can’t wait to do it again!

It cooked evenly without needing much adjustment, which made the whole process really smooth. Cleaning it is simple… you can either give it a quick brush or take the stones out and wipe everything down. It’s definitely heavy and feels really sturdy. Just keep in mind it’s very big, so make sure you’ve got enough space for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time using a pizza oven, and the Ooni Koda Pro 2 made it a fun and rewarding experience. Setup was simple with clear instructions, and the Ooni app is super helpful for tracking temperature, setting timers, troubleshooting, and finding recipes.

It took sometime to figure out the appropriate temperature we needed for our pizza but once set we didn’t mess with the temperature. We also had a learning curve with launching and turning the pizzas, but after a few tries, we got the hang of it. Burnt the stone but it cleaned up easily, especially after learning that heating it thoroughly burns off the black marks. Cleaning out small debris inside is a little tougher if you don’t have a long brush.
It cooks the pizza pretty fast so you need to stay next to the oven and be attentive.
The oven heats up quickly and feels solid and well-made. It’s heavy, so definitely a two-person lift but it is portable. I imagine this would do great if you took it camping with you. You will need to get a few extra tools if you don’t already have to launch the pizza, turn it and brush to clean off debris. I do not have an infrared thermometer but the company sells one to precisely measure the stones temperature which may have been helpful in preventing me burning my first pizza. So far, one 20 lb gas tank has lasted through several days of use. I haven’t tried anything besides pizza yet, but I’m excited to make s’mores and BBQ soon. Highly recommend if you love pizza and want to make your own creations or love outdoor cooking. Excited to use this for the rest of the summer with the rest of the family.

Pizza oven is great. Pretty easy to set up. Makes homemade pizza easy. This is a great size for cooking one medium pizza. Plenty of room to work with, but small enough to heat thoroughly.
