Great oven to learn and get good on

This has been my first stab at making a good pizza from all the ingredients to the cooking. There is a small learning curve using the oven and cooking a pizza but it’s not bad and the pizza it makes is pretty awesome I must admit. The price tag made me gag a little but it’s been a fun thing to do and involve the kids.

Nice design, easy to install, easy to operate, and Ooni has good accessories. The opportunities for improvement are making it easier to clean and also protection against windy days, since the fire is easily put out if there is wind blowing directly towards the front.

Great addition to my outside

Great addition to my outside kitchen. Easy setup. Easy to use. So fast! Each pizza gets better. Cleanup is a breeze. Can't wait to try something other than pizza. A cheat sheet of dial positions vs. approx. temperature would be nice.

My first pizza tasted great

My first pizza tasted great but I had trouble with my technique. I have made 3 more poolish pizzas and improved my technique--they were great in every way!! Nothing wrong with the Koda2 Pro! It works great in every way and I am having a lot of fun learning to make pizza using the poolish method for my dough.

Performance worthy of price

I'm 6 cooks into my first pizza oven, and the Koda 2 Pro does not disappoint. The wider opening, the thicker stone, and the variable dual burners really do perform well. I'm very happy I purchased this model over smaller models.

Great Oven, weak bluetooth

The Ooni has transformed my pizza making success. I had been using a pizza stone and a SS pizza stone cover inside my gas grill. The results were similar to a baked pizza and the dough was never properly cooked. With the Ooni, I get a great pizza . . crisp bottom, slightly browned top. So far, it has been working great outdoors at temps down to 30 degrees F.
After 4 separate cooks, I have figured out the best temp and process for an evenly cooked pizza. The oven is very easy to use and master
The bluetooth is really weak. I have the Ooni app on my iPhone 17 Pro Max and I lose the connection when I am more than 10’ away. In comparison, the wifi on my Mak Pellet grill works when I am 30+ feet away.
