Koda 2 Pro is awesome

I’ve had my Koda 2 Pro for two weeks and love it! Honestly, my favorite part is using it for meals other than pizza. So far I have cooked salmon and chicken (based on Ooni’s own cooking videos) and both dishes came out perfectly! Tonight will be our second pizza night — I’m hoping to be better at shaping the dough this time.

legs won't fold out fully

the legs on my brand new Koda 2 pro won't fully extend. the metal on the legs makes contact with the metal on the hinges preventing full extension. I would expect more attention to detail given the price I paid for the oven

I like how it looks. I am adjusting temperature constantly to stop bottom and top burn.
I make a Neapolitan style dough. I am struggling with hydration to get a crispier crust and bottom that doesn’t taste burnt.
800 degrees F way too hot.

Best Pizza/Family Night

In the past we’ve had pizza game night in our family the traditional way. The kids have always enjoyed making their own pizzas that I baked in the oven. I had been looking at Ooni pizza ovens for several years and finally took the plunge and bought one for a Christmas present for myself this year. All the kids and grandkids came over and we made pizzas. Everyone enjoyed it and the grandkids want to do it again. They were amazed at how fast the pizzas cooked and were excited to watch the crust puff up while they were standing there. In all I think we will have a lot of great nights and great pizzas with this oven.

Our first two pizzas turned out phenomenal! I knew they were going to cook fast so my first spin started at 30 seconds, then every 20 seconds until each was done. Keep the dough thinner and it will cook perfectly.

Expensive but worth it

The set up instructions could be better, there are 3 ports on the back of the display, the only one used is "A".
My first pizza was great! In use, this oven is really nice. Followed directions from online users, preheated at full blast, then when you put your pie in, turn it to low. Finish on high to get the top perfect. Takes 5 minutes max for a great pizza, I like mine well done! For the price, an outdoor cover should be included.
