Bad right out of the box

Unfortunately our oven would not start and we learned the igniter problem is a known defect and Ooni should be fixing this before selling more ovens!

Solid pizza oven

I’ve achieved some great results after a few tries of getting to know the oven. Overall it’s was a good purchase especially for its price. I do have problems when igniting the oven, it seems like the pilot doesn’t work properly. I’ve resulted in lighting it with a kitchen lighter.

Excellent directions on set up and how to cook. Best 3 pizzas we ever made or had!
It did take us a couple times to make it right. Our feedback is that 750 degrees is better than 850-900

Learning Curve

A friend had recommended Ooni pizza ovens and I finally purchased one. I was warned that the first few times I use it, that I would need to be patient. They were right. The oven works great and my family and I have enjoyed some great tasting pizza! I'm still in training after using it 3 times in the first two weeks of having the oven. The biggest challenge has been getting the pizza off of the peel and into the oven w/o losing the toppings. If you love pizza, then an Ooni is a great oven to purchase!

The oven is good but all your accessories are over priced. Be like weber they selleheir accessories at a affordable prices and do a much larger volume in sales. they can on sell you on BBQ but can sell you tons of accessories through the years.

Great Oven, weak bluetooth

The Ooni has transformed my pizza making success. I had been using a pizza stone and a SS pizza stone cover inside my gas grill. The results were similar to a baked pizza and the dough was never properly cooked. With the Ooni, I get a great pizza . . crisp bottom, slightly browned top. So far, it has been working great outdoors at temps down to 30 degrees F.
After 4 separate cooks, I have figured out the best temp and process for an evenly cooked pizza. The oven is very easy to use and master
The bluetooth is really weak. I have the Ooni app on my iPhone 17 Pro Max and I lose the connection when I am more than 10’ away. In comparison, the wifi on my Mak Pellet grill works when I am 30+ feet away.
