From the moment we installed it (which was surprisingly easy!), it has felt like stepping into the future of home automation.
One of the biggest highlights for our family is the palm vein scanner—my 10-year-old son can effortlessly scan his hand and walk right in without ever needing a key. It recognizes each family member with amazing accuracy in just 0.1 seconds, which is honestly mind-blowing. The best part? All data is stored locally with no monthly subscription, giving us peace of mind that our privacy is protected.
The inner color display is such a standout feature—it lets us see exactly who’s outside in real-time without even opening an app. Combine that with the stunning 2K HD camera, wide view, and clear night vision, and we never miss a visitor, delivery, or unexpected guest.
This device doesn’t just shine in tech features—it’s also incredibly durable and built to handle daily use and tough weather without skipping a beat. Whether it’s the high-traffic entry of a busy household or variable outdoor conditions, it is built to hold up beautifully. The best smart lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few smart locks in the house, but this one is by far the best! I love the palm vein technology, and how easy it is to unlock it. I also love the screen that shows who is behind the door without having to open the door or use the app.It is easy to install and very easy to use. I love all the different options to unlock the door. It is super helpful when I have my hands full, or I have dirty hands, etc.. This lock feels secure and so far has been working perfectly.

It has advanced security and apple home support. The video is high resolution 2K video that produces clear images for monitoring. It works with Alexa and Hey Google. Will be recommending this to family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eufy S3 Max feels sturdy and durable and it’s easy to install when following Eufy’s installation video. It took me under 20 minutes to install once the old lock is removed. A helpful tip: keep the rubber pad on the mount between the door and metal mount. I accidentally took it off when detaching it from the interior box. One if the newer features is the palm vein recognition which is surprisingly consistent and unlocks the door within seconds. There are multiple unlocking options including 1) palm vein recognition 2) app 3) keypad and 4) manual unlock if all power is lost but it does have backup batteries separate from the rechargeable battery. The kit comes with a new set of keys to use. The keypad works well and the app is simple to use. The video camera coverage has more vertical view vs other doorbell cameras which is great for monitoring package deliveries. The interior box has a built-in display to see who’s at the door— great for added safety so kids don’t open it for strangers. The local storage is 15GB which means that no subscription is needed. A few areas for future improvement: the auto-lock feature could benefit from a longer delay option (up to 30 minutes), and the interior lock/unlock buttons would be easier to see in the evening if they were backlit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to Smart Technology, I consider myself pretty adept. With the installation of the Eufy FamiLock S3 Max, it was pretty easy. The hardest part of the installation is making sure your strike plate lines up perfectly.
The Eufy app is very easy to navigate and has all the bells and whistles. I love every feature this lock/camera/doorbell has. Programming my palm print was easy and works perfectly. I also like the fact of having multiple ways to lock or unlock the door. You have the option to use your palm print, a code, the app, and an actual key.
The picture quality for the camera is very clear. You can also answer someone without opening the door through the app. This doorbell is more advanced than most I have seen.

This is such a cool device, I’ve never seen this kind of technology commercially available in security cameras, installation wasn’t too difficult, and it looks so cool, I had some buddies come over just so they could try it out and they’re all gonna buy it for their houses cause they thought it was super interesting. It makes getting into the home so easy but also very secure, I love companies like this that push the boundaries and bring new technology to the masses, I highly recommend this security lock/camera..

High tech security

The Eufy home lock has really helped everyone in our home whether they forget their keys or have their hands full of groceries. I set up the doorbell to unlock the door by scanning my hand, and only my hand which is pretty cool. You can also unlock the system by inputting a code on your phone app. There's also a wide lens that allows me to view my street, parking lot, and entrance to my backyard. I highly recommend this high tech system.
