Major design flaws

This was intended for window and sliding door tracks and upholstered chairs. Unfortunately to keep it going you must hold down the trigger the entire time. This caused severe pain in my thumbs as I had to rotate between using each hand. There should be an off/on switch too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great steamer, uncomfortable to use

I use this steamer on my comforter since it's too big to fit in a washing machine and it works so well. I've also used it to clean multiple things around the house. However, this is not a good steamer for people with carpal tunnel or other hand issues. The way you have to position your hand with your thumb reaching up to hold down the trigger is very uncomfortable and borderline painful. I usually use one hand to hold the machine and the other to hold the trigger down, but that still makes my hands hurt. Once again, it's a wonderful product, just be wary if you have hand issues.

Wife recently purchased this handy steam cleaner. I got the honor of unpacking it and reading the instruction pamphlet.( love to go all thru that before using any product) I am very pleased with the quality of the machine! Didn't think it would be as high of quality as it is. (So much of today's stuff is junk before it's even sold)! This one is GREAT compared to other models out there. Bissell once again , has really done their research and their people made an outstanding machine! Thank you!

Hoping it was just the one I got, but straight out of the box it did not work. There was no continuous blast of steam, sometimes no sound at all. Sometimes it would work if I turned it on its side, but I feel like that was a fluke. Did absolutely nothing with the extra tubing attached. Yes, I read the entire manual. After 10 minutes of trying, I gave up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only complaints I have are; I wish there was a wider scrub brush and the grout brush were narrower to fit where the top of the tub meets the wall. The round part doesn't allow the bristles to make full contact with the grout line. It is a lot better than the old one that got recalled. The lid is easier to get on and you don't have to worry about getting it cross threaded letting it leak.

This steamer heats up quickly and has a variety of attachments to deal with any cleaning task. Extra long cord, too. Have been using the same one for 10+ years and it istill going strong.

This little machine is a game changer! My stove hood was gross! I had tried various products but nothing got it really clean. This little machine changed all that! In a few really bad spots I did spray on some degreaser and then hit it with steam. My vent hood hasn't been this clean since installation!
