Stopped spinning function after 5 years.
I guess for the price point I would think it would last a little longer. Lived everything about it except the longevity. I’ve had microwaves last 10 years!

Lack of Sound on/off control

Please add the sound on/off control. I didn't even think there was a GE microwave made without that feature since our last two GE Profile Microwaves had this feature. One would think when you upgrade to the Cafe level it at least have the basic functions on the GE Profile line?? The salesman said it was in the App, but I downloaded the SmartHQ App and that is not the case. You may not be able to change the control panel on existing units, but maybe you can add the feature thru the App?? The beeping is extremely annoying, especially homes where the microwave is used with others in the home are trying to sleep. Please add this feature. At this point, I've been told I need to have a tech tear it open & clip the wires...seems like a ridiculous solution!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share this with our engineering and design teams. This model does have the option to disable the door lock if desired.

Press and hold "7" key for 3-5 seconds or until you hear a beep. Then release.
Press the "9" key. Release.
Press the "0" key. Release.

There will be two short beeps and the display will flash "UnLo" to confirm the default condition has been updated successfully. To re-enable the child resistant oven door, repeat steps 1-3 above. The display will show "Loc" to confirm the feature has been re-enabled.

I hate the door lock feature which occurs every time you use it.

We'd like to help you with your unit's child lock feature. This feature comes enabled by default.
