Horrible brand horrible products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Horrible experience from the start. Trusted Samsung again and let me down again. Fridge won’t connect to internet spent 8 hours on the phone troubleshooting… no resolution. Won’t produce ice and it’s brand new. Garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flexible in that you can convert the middle drawer to different temperatures. Flexible in that you can have different types of ice in the freezer and flexible in the storage with adjustable shelving and spacing. Very smart fridge!

AI Vision Useless

This is a very nice looking refrigerator but if I was to buy it again, I would have skipped one with AI Vision (i've now turned this off). The photo quality looks like it's from 2000, the resolution is insanely low on them and half the time you can't even tell what it is. This isn't specific to the pictures it takes when you add/remove something which is a whole other issue (I have 8 pictures of milk from all different angles). Back to the camera, even using the Smart Thing App to look at the door storage you can barely tell what you are looking at.
Another issue I have is the dual ice maker. While I appreciate having so much ice, I honestly don't see the point of having 2 sizes of the same type of ice. The larger ice is pretty small to begin with. They should have made the "ice bites" crunchy ice like at some restaurants; extra small ice pellets really serve no purpose.
My last complaint is the auto-open doors which I've also turned off, first of all the doors only open 3/4 of the way and by the time they do open you could have easily just opened them fully by hand. It's also annoying that when you do go to open them by hand the auto-door tends to activate at the same time.
With the above issues out of the way, this refrigerator isn't a total bust. The Beverage center is awesome and love the auto-fill putcher. Also, the amount of space in this frig is crazy.
The AI Home screen is decent and as a Samsung phone/tablet family its fits right in and works well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To maximize its function, refer to page 61 of the user manual for instructions on how to utilize this feature effectively. The ice maker offers you the option to choose between regular ice cubes that melt more slowly and ice bites to chill your drink faster. With regards to the Auto-Open Door function of your fridge, the door opening angle depends on the following: 1) The level of the floor (left to right, front to back) where the refrigerator is installed. 2) The level of the refrigerator. 3) The amount of food stored in the door bins. Sleek and elegant fridge with great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful fridge with some great features along with a handful of disappointing issues. It has plenty of room inside and nice glass shelves. The touchscreen is great for keeping track of items in the fridge, viewing photos, watching music videos on YouTube, or for many other helpful things. I love the beverage door for getting sodas, beer, etc. out of the fridge without having to open the actual fridge. The automatic refilling water pitcher is something I love with this fridge along with the fact that it makes regular and mini ice cubes at the same time so you can take your pick. The front of the fridge is made with high quality materials and the inside glass shelves are nice as well. The middle section of the fridge is the adjustable temperature drawer for various food or beverage items. I love that it can be opened on its own because my previous fridge had a sliding deli drawer but you had to open both fridge doors all the way to access it. This design is so much better and more practical. Having said that this fridge is beautiful with many great features it is not without problems. The design of the cover over the ice bins is not well done since about 50% of the time when you get ice the cover jams and then the freezer will not close. It causes it to abruptly stop while trying to close it and ice cubes fall onto the floor and you have to struggle with it to get it to close. The sliding shelf in the fridge that is designed to allow you to put additional tall items in the fridge has issues as well. It does not click back into place fully when extending it back out so that makes the shelf much less sturdy...possibly a defect with our fridge only. One of the 2 crisper bins looks to be missing an additional plastic strip that goes above the drawer lip so it can cause odors to fill the whole fridge with the smell of vegetables you have in the drawer...the other crisper drawer has the plastic strip so it does not have that problem...again defective only on our fridge or an issue for others as well?. Lastly, the outside of the fridge which is the black glass portion shows fingerprints like crazy which is pretty annoying. My husband is not a fan of the fridge...especially the issues with the ice bin getting stuck and the freezer not shutting easily as a result. He hates even getting ice out of it. If it weren't for the issues I stated above I would probably have given it 5 stars but with the issues I can only give it 3 stars. As for its longevity I can not rate that as we have only had it a couple months. It does run extremely quit, makes enough ice for our daily needs, has had no issues with keeping proper temperature so those are all pluses.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Purchase

Right of the bat, service was great and delivery went really well! The fridge had some minor scuffs in the drawers but nothing bad and nothing in the exterior. I am amazed by how quiet this fridge is and how quickly it was cold after I hooked it up. The tech on it works wonderful and I have had no issues with the sync to my phone. I also bought 3 extra panels and the install went as easy as they say it does. I got an amazing deal for it too! The only reason I dont give it 5 stars are bc of minor cosmic issues and the ice maker is a little slow but not the end of the world.
I would recommend this to a friend!
