Well-rested in 2026!

I'm obsessed with my Hatch--best gift for the new year. I look forward to my bedtime story, haven't taken a melatonin--even during jetlag--and have had my best sleep ever. Waking to amber glow and the sound of rain is so much better than my phone. Super grateful!

Only thing that will wake me up

I am a very hevey sleeper and nothing for the life of me will get me up in the morning. I bought this as a last resort before college and surprisingly the light combined with the fun talking alarm I wake up so easy and actually kinda relaxed.

Sleep Better

I have always had alarm clock anxiety because of being jolted awake. I don’t anymore. I feel like I’m better at relaxing and sleeping now that I’m not jolted awake. I highly highly recommend this alarm clock.

Life changing!

While it has not cured my insomnia struggles entirely, it has truly helped me fall asleep easily and stay asleep. The unwind feature is my favorite! I’ve also never been a morning person. The alarm settings make waking up easier and a little more enjoyable.

Love the sunrise alarm, but subscription isn’t worth it

First, yes, I love the sunrise alarm feature and love that when I hit snooze, the light stays on. But the overall nighttime features have been disappointing and don’t seem worth the cost of the subscription. I only wanted a sundown feature the same way there is a sunrise feature, but I haven’t found that to work as well. The app itself needs work, too, as setting it up required moving it around the house to be nearer the router. There also isn’t great documentation on what the buttons on the top of the unit do, beyond the main one. So overall, a bit of a disappointment in the app and “extra” subscription features.

App needs improvement

I like the hatch better than alarms I have used in the past. However, I find the app somewhat glitchy, and for how expensive the device + subscription are, it leaves much to be desired. The app itself will occasionally freeze and not allow you to edit an alarm, or it will refuse to save an alarm, and you have to restart the app. I have updated the app at every opportunity, so it's not that. I also wish there were a function to disable the capability to turn the alarm off from my phone. I enjoy the many features of the device and I don't sleep through my alarms like I used to, but being able to turn it off from my phone (but not able to snooze from the app) makes it easy to just go back to sleep. The device itself is great but I don't know that I'd be able to recommend it given the price tag and additional subscription for an app that doesn't perform consistently.
