I was hopeful that the hatch would help me wake up easier, but it does not. I still have to set an alarm on my phone to actually get up.

Literally life changing and worth every penny

I never thought I'd say this about a clock...but it has truly changed my life. I've been struggling with sleep for months living in NYC, and struggling to wake up in the AM after restless nights. Since getting the Hatch, I have found the evening setting so soothing, it signals to my mind that it is time to slow down and settle into rest; and the morning setting is such a gentle, lovely way to start my day. I don't even hit snooze! Incredible product, sleek design that fits in with my decor. 10/10 recommend!

I named my Hatch the "Hatchling" and I just love her so much. I have a puppy so I do have to get up throughout the night sometimes, but I still sleep so much better than before. I love the wind down and the color options. My husband and I would have a YouTube "fire crackling" or "thunder storm" loop video playing at night before this, so now I comfortably fall asleep with no TV light but still get the wonderful soothing sound of a fire crackling to help me fall asleep. The light to wake me up every morning has been SO soothing- I am far from a morning person but I am finding it so much easier to wake up every morning because of little Hatchling!

Sounds are not calming. A basic white noise is not available (at least for free) other sounds are not soothing, need more options for free.

I love this thing! I fall asleep so much more easily with the pink noise and find I’m waking up in my own a few minutes before the sound goes off just from the light alone.

Costs a lot for very little

I do like it but I’m surprised that you can’t use ANY of the unwind features without the membership. I would understand having limited access to some premium content or something but the for the price of the Hatch I can’t believe how little you get in the app. Other things that would be nice to have: being able to choose a custom amount of time for the sunrise alarm duration and sound at night - Only two options, 1 hour or infinity is pretty ridiculous. Also, would be nice to have the option for the light to turn off when you snooze. Basically, being able to customize more options would be better.
Overall, I don’t think I’ll return it but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend either. It’s really hard to justify the price when you get so little and are otherwise forced to pay a monthly membership fee.
