Love the (idea) of the product, but...

It can't be used because it's unable to connect to 5ghz wifi. I bought this for my son for his birthday to use at college. He was sooo excited, but then he was unable to set it up. His dorm only has 5ghz. There is another free wifi that is not password protected, but he can't connect Hatch to that because it requires a password. I told him to bring it home at Christmas and maybe I'll use it, as it will be too late to return it by then.

I like a lot of things about the restore 2 (the sunset and sunrise options, sound pairings, White noise) but it looses connection at least once a week and has to be reset. Sometimes it stops playing the white noise overnight and wakes us up with a loud beep. I’ve just started using the alarm, and today it didn’t even go off at the right time after loosing connection last night (never fell back asleep after 3:00 so I noticed when it went off). If you can’t trust the alarm part to work right that’s kind of a big thing! I really like the sunrise alarm function when it works though. It helps to wake up more gradually. I also like the morning stretches rise option, but it plays the same strength for days in a row because of the connection issues. I dunno…maybe I have a faulty one? We have the hatch rest for the nursery and don’t seem to have the same issues with that. Have other people had connection problems with the restore 2 specifically?

I love the meditation sounds and just wish there were more available for mornings! Also would love if more sunset/sunrise color options were usable for morning sounds and for just during the day settings (I like to leave my hatch light on while I’m home). Sleep sound has been great, customer service has been great, overall love my hatch!

I love the night time sounds to help with deeper sleep and have been waking up much more rested with the sunrise alarm. I wake up before the alarm sound even goes off!

This is the worlds greatest sleep tool, alarm clock, meditation tool, etc around. We love ours & will be getting one for each room! The new design is so cute too! It makes waking up in the morning so much easier with the sunrise effect.
