It has been very helpful! I like how the transition between wind down and sleep sounds is softer on this version. The wake up sounds are less annoying and seemingly more refined. One thing that is weird is that, after waking up and turning off the alarm, there is an audible in the device a few minutes later - like some switch inside is physically resetting. A bit obnoxious, but not the end of the word.

Not better sound

It performs more consistently than the Restore 1 but the sound output still fluctuates, the higher notes are more muffled. I felt the Restore 1 had better sound quality it just only had volume 50% of the time.

Gentle Sunrise Wake Up

Better buttons

I prefer the rest button on the new hatch over that difficult tiny top button on the hatch1, though I find the rise button useless- I must be utilizing that one incorrectly. I would prefer my sleep settings page on the app to include my alarm settings though. Additionally, can you please put a dot or a bell image or something to indicate when the alarm is on/set? This helps alleviate the sleep induced “is the alarm set” panic.

I can’t imagine life before my Hatch 2.0! I had the original hatch that began to malfunction. I contacted customer service and they promptly informed me that I had a connectivity issue due to the hardware. I was sent the latest Hatch and could not be more pleased.
