Replacement for Restore 1 Impressive!

I received a Restore 2 as a replacement product for a defective Restore 1 and was very impressed by all the improvements they've made!
PROS
- Separate wake up routines, called "Morning Moments" added to the available features
- Better toggle for alarm on/off directly on the physical device to avoid accidentally bumping the button (which I managed to do at least once with Restore 1)
- No more issues with attempts at snoozing accidentally turning the alarm off instead
- More sound options (I am a subscriber though, so not sure if there are added free options)

CONS
- I personally am not a fan of the linen covering over the light portion as the owner of a dog who sheds heavily as it tends to collect on this fabric, however this is merely a matter of personal preference and not of functionality

Good, but the app needs improvement

Restore 2 is an improvement over the previous version, but the app is still a bit clunky and more complicated than it needs to be for fine-tuning your selections. The new placement of the sound and light functions on the unit, however, is so much better than before -- no more fumbling in the dark trying to adjust the volume or lighting.

Very Poor Sound quality

The sound coming out of the hatch is way worse than the original and the sound settings are inconsistent and constantly reset themselves to the highest settings. Sound quality SO poor!

I bought this as a gift for my husband who has trouble falling asleep. He loves it so much! He has incorporated into his nightly routine and find that he has much more restful sleep. I do wish there was a way to have more than one hatch in the room or to not wake up when he does since he works so early. I love the look of it and overall we are very pleased with it.

Hatch restore vs restore 2

I purchased the hatch restore a year ago and 3 months after was experiencing terrible glitches and weird volume settings- a month ago hatch reached out to replace all restores with the restore 2 and so far the restore has been amazing.
