I miss the design and look of the Restore 1 with the sort of frosty dome of light instead of the mesh covering, however, the buttons on the Restore 2 are MUCH more convenient and easy to use and the mesh doesn't seem to affect the quality of the light too much. So far it's doing the job.

Best Alarm Clock Ever !!

This alarm clock has literally been my favorite part of going to sleep and waking up! I actually look forward to my wind down and waking up each morning! Falling asleep has never been easier, most of the time I don’t even make it through my entire 15 minute wind down. Then I stay asleep during the night, or if I do wake up to use the restroom, I fall back asleep almost instantly with my little forest symphony noises! Waking up has also been easier and I absolutely love my rise routine — the Reset. I look forward to hearing the messages and affirmations each day from Kristin. My Mom and I got this alarm clock to try together, and we are absolutely loving it! Seriously a life changer and we have agreed anywhere we go (vacation etc.) our alarm clocks are coming with us! The perfect way to set the mood for the night and wake up in a great mood! I also enjoy the sleek and beautiful design of the latte colored Hatch! Will definitely be keeping my Sleep Membership as I love all the content! Thank you Hatch team for always being so kind and prompt when I have questions as well! (:

Love the design

When I bought the Hatch I was looking for an adult sound machine option to help me sleep with background noise and help build a routine at night that eliminated TV. The Hatch has been a great solution for this!
One additional thought.. I was not aware I would have to buy a monthly subscription to have access to the complete sound library. I understand that subscriptions are all the rage in business building, yet I felt like the price I paid for the Hatch Restore should have included more of this. (At least give us 3-6 months free!)

I like the different noise options (white/brown/pink) and the sunrise alarm feature is cool. Mostly needed to drown out sounds of husband's snoring.

Good - but user interface needs some work

The Hatch is very stylish, and we really enjoy the sleep sounds and the stories for strained brains with Tallon, but the user interface leaves a lot to be desired. Both my husband and I use it, but only I have the app on my phone. I don't like that you can't turn on it's light without an app because he doesn't have the app on his phone. We also struggle with tapping the buttons vs. holding them down, and how to start/stop the sleep routine, morning routine, and alarm.
I also wish there were more options for body scan nighttime routine, as it moves too quickly...
Overall we LIKE it, but I'm not blown away, and for the price I definitely expected to be. I'm seriously considering returning before the 30 day window.

I love it! Super easy to connect, a cinch to control with my phone, great new features (the volume button actually works!), no problems moving room to room. Would definitely recommend.

I feel like it was lacking the customizations. I couldn’t schedule it to turn on at a certain time, similar to the rest +. For the cost I feel like it should have had some relaxing sounds for wind down. It has potential but isn’t what I’m willing to settle for now for the cost. For now I’ve gone with the rest+. Also it seems like the thunder wasn’t as loud or the same as the hatch +
